Of course, mushrooms are a must have with a fry up.

For white puddings is Speyside Specialities all the way from the supermarkets.

Craving a fry up now ffs.

Simon Howie's haggis, eh?

I presume you spent all night on the toilet

The stock image I posted is out of date, it's actually Macsween's haggis they use now.

So anyone that's just eaten a Cosmo's pizza topped with Simon Howie haggis will be spending at least one night on the toilet.

In that case, I trust your pizza was glorious

Pineapple is great in al pastor style tacos.

Enzymes in the pineapple tenderise the meat.

Skipped yesterday as it was a school night but made pan fried slices of haggis from a huge chubb* - McCaskie's of Greater Greenock, indisputably the best - with a whisky pepper sauce this evening. Swapped out turnip - an utterly shan, Brexit vegetable - for roasted carrots and just roasted the potatoes too. An added bonus came in the form of a celeriac gratin reduced in M and S, half of which made for an additional veg.

Have to say it was excellent all round and would make again M much more often. Agree that whisky with food is daft and went for an Italian red (matches with game apparently) to wash it down nicely.

An Edradour 10/Oban Little Bay will be much more enjoyable later on.

Just when I start thinking "you know, folk from Dundee aren't all that bad" something like this comes up to put you guys back to square one.

“A Brexit vegetable”

Easy now. One other word & you'll be a "beige, zero pointer, no-mark" Exclimated with a Gregg Wallace.

There's an old boy in the pub who makes haggis cakes. Not of a sweet variety but of a fishcake-esque type.

I sat dazzled by the idea when he mentioned it and he made some fir the biys. Delightful.

That sounded like a tale from brothers Grimm when I read.
