Hauftimedraw
Are we going to get back to back wins for the first time this season? What formation will Peter Murphy surprise us with today... Full backs as centre forwards? Will Michael Ndiwene start? Mon the Annan!!
Kevchenko
Good to get 3 points after last week’s collapse and felt it was a way more comfortable afternoon than a 1 goal win suggests. A poor goal to concede early with Neill being too passive, but it was a tremendous finish by the impressive Smith. As with the Motherwell game, it was a really good reaction to the early goal and to grab 2 goals in 2 minutes turned things around. I know they announced Coulson as the scorer of the 2nd but thought it was Bobby Goals again, impossible to see with the sun in your eyes. 2nd goal was really good passing in the build up, a bit similar to one Falkirk got against us last week. A couple of chances in the 2nd half before we got the decisive 3rd with Wales having the best of them, but good to see them keep plugging away and getting another goal. Nice move but an absolute gift from Heraghty. Pretty difficult to tell anything regarding the penalty from the opposite end but overall the Annan players weren’t shy in going to deck and screeching like they had been shot. Think only downside of today was not getting to improve the goal difference more after last week as would say there was probably 2 or 3 goals between the sides overall. Up in to the playoff spots (and could eventually be 3rd with the games in hand) ahead of next week’s derby!
Vegetableman
3 points to anyone away is good regardless (better than our last visit ) our play around those 2 minutes and two goals was really good and made the overall difference although i thought we should have had it sealed after our third , fair play to annan who never gave up but i thought the scoreline flattered them a little .
Waspie
Agree with the posts above, the final score made the game look closer than it really was. We started on the front foot and it was really disappointing to concede on Annan's first attack. We obviously gave the ball away cheaply and left ourselves open but have to credit for Smith for the way he finished it. We reacted well though with some excellent football and looked capable of scoring whenever we went forward. Should really have added to our tally before the third finally arrived. We seemed to be seeing it out effectively at 3-1 before conceding the penalty at the end (need to see the highlights to judge that one) and making the final minutes more nervy than they should have been. But a deserved win overall with some good football. Defence (and PJ) in the main coped well with Annan firing high balls (and long throws) at them and it was good to see Miko getting stuck in in midfield. Hopefully he can build on that. Good response to last week and sets us up nicely for the derby.

Rory
Looked like we had enough chances to make it a bit more of a comfortable result. Been a big fan of Roberts all season but felt his use of the ball was letting him down but he's improved it a lot over the last 2/3 weeks. Hopefully string together a run of wins and stay in the play off places

Especially with Stevie out.
