Rangers were very good, add the two together and it's inevitable you'll take a sore one. No need to lose our heads though, we've been on a good run, one game doesn't negate it and it won't define where we finish in the league. Wednesday is a good one to bounce back in, no time to feel sorry for ourselves. You have loads of time to feel sorry for yourselves. You could play shayden morris at right back on Wednesday, lose, take the 5 point deduction for fielding an Aberdeen player and still finish 3rd comfortably.

Same with Morelos and Kent, ultimately. Tbf to Kamara the other two have pretty much been failures at their new clubs but Kamara seems to be doing well with Leeds who will surely keep him when they get promoted considering how well he's done.

In terms of 3rd your probably right, drop points to Hibs and you'll almost certainly have folk questioning Naismith despite the very good form
RuMoore
Usually I would post something where I pretend the other team did well to hoard some green upvotes and come across like the sensible (highest respected) Rangers poster on here but I can't stomach it today. The only sensible Hearts opinion is to count that as an outlier and pump celtc next week. Edited February 24 by RuMoore
bennett
Thought that today would be a tough game with Hearts form this season, that could easily have been 7 or 8 nil. The big question is where did Tav go for his after match meal?

lennyzer0
Ouch. Ah well, not the first pumping in Glasgow I've sat through, won't be the last. 3 points off Hibs during the week, and all will be forgotten.

That is 4 in a row he has lost to them and the results are not getting worse. Clement has him sussed. Damned if he does, Damned if he doesn't, given the form hearts are in he maybe rightly thought he'd keep it as much the same as possible as the players are playing well with it Goal after 2 mins throws any plan out the window mind you, If he changed his set up today and rangers won by even say 3, everyone would say "why did ge change a system that had them flying"

It's made us competitive. Early goal yesterday fucked us, gameplan out the window and the players panicked. Even after 1-0 we were playing our way back into it until a defensive calamity.

Aye, took a combo of a few things for us to win by 5 yesterday, hearts being poor, us being good, early goal to throw hearts gameplan out the window and then that mistake for the second goal as you said
topcat(The most tip top)
Well if you’re going to concede 5 goals then it’s best to get them out of the way first n one game than spread them out

The players are comfortable playing different formations. We sometimes play with 3 at the back/ an extra centre half, we are more solid, don't concede many goals but don't create/score many goals. We sometimes play with a back 4, we are more open, score more goals but concede more. Against Rangers we have went from losing 2-1, 1-0 to losing 3-1, 5-0. I think it was right to start with a back 3 but now I think we need to try something different when we next play Rangers.

RandomGuy.
Think the issue with Rangers is how good they are at playing more direct. Used to be you stop the deepest midfielder and you stop them, doesnt matter now.

The guy was excellent again. 5-0 while also missing a few good chances is always a great position to be in, with all our January transfer signings making a contribution. Big Phil has this side looking confident and commanding. He seems to have got Dessers scoring , although he is still missing some Souttar and Lawrence ( and Wright ) are also getting game time !
