Size of the League and clubs, using social media followers as the metric

Recommended Posts

I think the size of the league and clubs within the league can be taken from the social media followers of each club, i have counted the followers from Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), Youtube and TikTok and I think this gives a good idea of where the league is at.

I do believe that the league needs expanding, to allow more clubs and to try and increase the following amongst all those clubs. If you look at the Eredivisie then Ajax apart, they have a similar following, this could be achieved with the league and all clubs working together to increase their profiles. I think this is the growth area that needs to be explored to increase the value of the brand and the size of the TV deal.

That can't be right. Celtgers having less than a third of the active fanbase of Ajax?

What a minter. Just as well that North Atlantic league was always a fantasy.
