I’d be shocked if most QP fans aren’t aspiring to one day have a proper stadium to enjoy. We will never have much atmosphere at Hampden with 2-3000 fans and yes we do want to see Lesser finished at some point in the near future. But for now it is good to be back in Glasgow and we will settle for that for now. What would be absolutely soul destroying is having to watch Morton every week. Brutal stuff (and we had to put up with Veldman's tikki taka nonsense). Sunday league on steroids but it works for you. Don't know how you do it. TheGoon
“Don’t know how you do it” - anyone with eyes can see how we do it, some even know how to stop it. Sadly, Queen’s Park are not one of those. Shame!
Ferguson
It's always the teams who can't string 2 passes together against us that have a problem with our style of play.

Averaging a home gate of about 1800, just a wee bit less than you and up from a 1000 last year. Not bad progress given there are 3 other teams in the city. Nice try. How many home fans are in attendance due to free tickets?

You can try and fail to switch the subject by talking about our style of play. Seen us not too bad this season. Must be wonderful watching Paton roll about the floor like a wee fanny and Longridge make a c**t of himself on a weekly basis. A lot can be said for the line in front of the GK but ultimately big questions get asked of the man between the sticks. Generally a fair and reasonable assumption. I'm no apologist for Ferrie and personally believe he has his limitations, especially when it comes to his distribution where he often appears slow in his decision making and prone to resort to kicking long ultimately losing possession - but genuinely his shot stopping has saved us more points this season than he has cost - it it weren't for him I daresay we'd be far closer, or even adrift of, Arbroath - it is one of life's great mysteries that he seems to 'save' (geddit) his worst for games for those against you. When it comes to the finger of blame for the volume of goals conceded this season 95pc will be in the direction of Veldman and his defensive organisation - an issue that it appears Davidson hasn't quite as yet, gotten on top of.

Grow up.

Thought Danny Wilson would've went a long way towards fixing this. Very good centre half and you can see why he's spent his whole career at a higher level sometimes, but as you say the defence has been all over the place at times. Suppose it isn't his fault someone else has given away 2 daft free kicks for our goals on Saturday right enough.

Suppose it isn't his fault someone else has given away 2 daft free kicks for our goals on Saturday right enough. There's still time and hopefully he's still around next season. The defence has been chaotic. Fox, when he's not been injured has been mercurial at best. Tizzard showed promise but the focus on 'youth development' was quickly forgotten when Veldman needed a scapegoat/sacrificial lamb and dumped him so publicly at Airdrie. The other CB's have largely had to play second/third fiddle to Thomson, a midfielder, who was preferred in defence to them. We seemed, earlier in the season, unable to find a RB that could both provide attacking threat and defensive stability and Robson has arguably been off it since January last year. Amongst all of this Ferrie started the season playing second fiddle to McKenna, who after larger teams started sniffing around was wrapped in bubble wrap to protect the fee he eventually got us, (which has given credence to the notion of youth development as a major revenue stream). Given all of this and whilst I fully appreciate you aint seen the best of him, the fact that Ferrie has kept his head against 8, if not 9 teams in this league has been an absolute bonus.

A different primary school class or local kids football team is invited each week. So about 20-30 kids each game as far as I can tell. You guys are keeping it going! It is wonderful watching Paton and Longridge. Much better than thugs in fita strips like Crawford. He played like a complete see you next Tuesday. Should have been off the park after his tackle on Thomson. -

So you were raging on Sunday and Tuesday. Lovely stuff. If you're going to pick out a physical player you could do much better than Crawford. He's probably the least physical player in the team
Zanetti
12 minutes ago, Mr.Blue said: But but but attendances are up!! They are though. We've given away the same number of tickets this season for each home game as we did last year while at Ochilview (and we also stuck a bus on for them to get to Larbert), yet our average attendance has grown from 911 while challenging for the league to 1768, despite us having been mostly miserable to watch. Plenty to criticise the club for, something I'm not shy about doing myself, but that isn't one of them. It's just a shame we weren't back in the southside for the 22/23 season which was obviously a lot more exciting, and would've no doubt done more to get people through the door.
