If so, surely Scottish Water and/or the cooncil should be on the hook as well. Everybody is talking about Dens Rd but the only time I remember any drai age problems it was Cleppy Rd about two year ago and it was all crumbling.

Theyellowbox
32 minutes ago, DeeTillEhDeh said: In what way does it blame the referee? It's a statement of fact that the referee has asked for another inspection. In any case you are hardly in a position to lecture with that fucking tattie field at McDiarmid. Think you guys are in no position to make comment on any other team pitch tbh. Especially not one that you may well end up having to use as yours is so poor. Motherwell are the big loosers here. Game get postponed then they obviously need to fit it in. Game goes ahead, they have had their prep messed up and less fans. Dundee seem to somehow always make an arse of things. Best season in a long time and still make themselves look amateurish. Also, not sure the club can blame factors outside dens. That bit where the ball doesn't bounce is to my memory, not the area they have historically had issues and looks to have just had loads of sand thrown on it for weeks/months.

Its nothing to do with the weather, its to do with a pitch that is nowhere close to good enough. The pitch was playable on Thursday.

If it's not, that's not the ref's fault. Exactly Dr M. It never ceases to amaze me how people interpret written English. @casinobay would you be kind enough to explain to us how you managed to interpret Dundee’s factually correct tweet as blaming the referee?

It's a different part of the pitch - the bit you're thinking of is in the other half - that's where the underrsoil heating failed and had to be replaced. Arab_R_us
Heard we have an U16 game at Tannadice with a 3pm start (no pitch inspection planned), so at least the Motherwell supporters will have a game to goto. -

Friskysteed
If it’s called off, then Dundee should forfeit. Absolute joke of a pitch, it’s embarrassing for the top league to have a club with a pitch like this
Der Panzer
There is a ref based in Dundee - Fordyce - he was involved in the Sevco call off too. Presume he would’ve been used Thursday.
