Better than previous weeks but still not enough at this stage of the season. We upped the tempo 2nd half and got in some decent areas but decision making let us down

Win at Arbroath next week and Inverness fail to win at Dunfermline. Very much realistic. Please do us a favour Dunfermline 🙏

Vocal support again...

I don't get it, what's with your constant posting having digs at the support?

Around me was busier than usual, and while the walk up attendance might not match the tickets sold it was still a fair attendance, let down by the utter dross on the park, it's little wonder no one could get into it, it's been a season of utter pish performances at EEP.

It's so annoying that McPake the other week was talking about how good Andy Tod, Taylor Sutherland and Liam Hoggan have been doing and yet we brought on Holmes when Sutherland was sitting on the bench. Holmes isn't our player and hasn't looked sharp at all in the few moments he's had. Sutherland at least in his brief appearances has had something about him.

This was the shout from most folk around me today. Baffling.

By not getting it on target 🎯

Haha aye, that's usually how it happens!

Was frustrated with his rank service again today. He had almost nothing to work with. We were a mess going forward.

How was the undroppable McKinstry today?

I actually thought he had a decent 2nd half, arguably his best showing (which is a very low bar admittedly). Took control of the attacks and showed some decent composure. Little bit soft in the challenge a bit too often for my liking but he seems best in the centre of midfield

Mauchin and Fox had solid performances also

Saw it late and couldn't readjust himself is the generous take. Wasn't anticipating it and caught on his heels is the more harsh one. Probably a bit of both.

Think it was slightly above him and would have been an 'easier' chance for a taller player.

Didn't think it was that easy a chance to be fair.

All in all, very underwhelming afternoon. Poor performances across the park - Kane, MFW, Hamilton all well below par. No intensity, no real desire, and little quality. KRH very quiet but unsurprising given the bizarre setup. McCann's time is done - if we want to be challenging next season, the bar needs to be raised significantly.

Been some really good shot stopping from Mehmet last few weeks but he's absolutely the worst for slowing the game down. Absolutely zero urge to win that game in last 10 minutes and with Airdrie taking a pasting, the outside chance of top 4 was still there. Not for Mehmet, who was more than happy with nil nil. Get that attitude out of here. Brutal. Don't think McPake was too happy either.

Needs to be a significant turn over in squad. Almost entire bench can go and some of that first team would be lucky to find themselves in any starting XI next season if that's what they think is acceptable. McPake too would do well to reflect on what was a poor setup and far too late to change team up.

Frustrating. I'd like to say season is now over but if these guys aren't careful, a slip against ICT next week coupled with Queens Park beating relegated Arbroath would very much set up a horrendous last day of season. Potential was there to consolidate 5th place and head in to off season with some optimism. Instead, I'm dreading next 2 weeks.

Not good enough.

Excellent analysis and can't see many arguments.

We set up not to lose and so that's on McPake. Mehmet was maybe at the bog when Mcpake said OK let's actually try and win rather than not get beat durong the HT talk, so was still playing the earlier approach.

The game was there to win that first half as they looked nervous, and despite starting well, the set up and not get beat attitude held us back.

Shocking yet unsurprising.

Was in the main stand today (for the first time since the West Brom friendly in 2007) and had a good view of how utterly shocking the pitch was. Was mainly the side nearest the main stand (since it doesn't get light most of the time) but the goal mouths didn't look great either.

Thankfully only one more match to go* before it gets a chance to recover.

Also, there was a young lad a few rows in front of us who started chanting "f**k Queen's Park!" which was fairly amusing. Some older dafty in front of him took exceptional and had a go at the lad's old man about how terribly he was raising his kid, rather than just ask for the chant to stop.

It did stop after that mind, but the older sour lad seemed to be annoyed by the kid the whole time he (the kid) was there.

*Hopefully...

Well worth the admission fee then ?

That was absolutely appalling. Lacklustre. Uninspiring. Really really pish. Can't be bothered analysing it. Football is a really simple game but McPake is trying his best to make it hard.

Really pissed off tonight
