Livingston vs St Johnstone - 11/05/2024

The realisation this could come down to goal difference on the final day makes me feel sick already.

Genuinely dreadful stuff from us, Shamal making some good saves the only reason it's not about 3 or 4 already. Montano probably comes closest to "good" for us outfield, but the teams clearly on the beach already

Excellent first half, but definitely concerned we’ll come to rue those missed chances.

As good an opening 12 minutes I’ve seen from Saints in a while.

If this was early-mid season you’d think it was an open entertaining match with both teams trying to play a bit and plenty of chances. But there’s too much at stake for anything other than a Saints win to matter.

What a great signing Adam’s Sidibeh has been. Him and Benj on 3 goals apiece since the break in a team which struggles to create and score and has only won 3 matches is actually a good return.

Tbf I don't think Martindale expected us to line up/play this way at all, so the first 15 minutes was a shock and awe approach from us more than you being poor.

Games evened out as we have.

Some players out on their arse, and this is the issue.

If things aren't going badly we seem to refuse to change it until it goes wrong.

Be proactive and this is a good game all round.

A pathetic goal to concede.

Montano stood at the back post unmarked for ages as the corner is set up then taken, then a simple tap in under no pressure when it reaches him.

Amateur fucking stuff.

Levein just isn’t capable of changing things until a player loses the ability to run or we concede a goal.

Umpteen chances to put this game to bed - and it’s not Levein’s fault we haven’t taken them - but some players were flagging ages ago.

Clark has to score, a simple chance and he totally fluffs it.

Absolutely wild how bad we get after anything goes against us. Since we conceded we've struggled to complete a pass.
