 Nonsense.

There is always 2 sides to a story but maybe a spot of truth in why he has asked to be placed on transfer list. Time will tell too good a player to be not playing but who will pay the large fee.

Has Brophy played for a Premier Club previously?

100% pushed out. Nothing to do with game time & all about how he’s been treated since Murdie came in. He’s seen as McKim’s man and he’s clearing them out 1 by 1.

Bullseye. Malky McDonald will be next.

🧤 Congratulations to Bankies academy graduate Lucas Ross who has signed a new deal, with the goalkeeper now available for loan to continue his development.

All interested parties should contact match secretary Matt Bamford on 07804 628113 or first team manager Gordon Moffat.

How many of the “graduates” in recent years are still part of your First Team Squad?

Every year you guys sign up 4/5 who don’t play much part, but hey, it looks like you give kids a chance on social media!

Oisin McHugh is vice Captain. Ben McLernan moved to first team squad last year and was loaned out to Renfrew. He has played during pre-season scoring multiple times. Recently signed Connor Keaney is backup goalie and is only 19 so could still play for development team.

Euan McMillan and Ian Begg defenders from u20s have both also played in preseason and for first team last season.

So the answer is one at the moment really?

I see Evan Dunne who came through your 20s doing really well for Beith, so you are nurturing talent that can play at and above that level.

You always have a fairly strong 20s too, I really like seeing young players being given an opportunity, but, I feel the Bankies hold players back at times and sour relationships. When they are not going to get a chance, be honest, move them on somewhere they will play and develop and keep the positive relationship with the player, the honesty helps if you want them back down the line.

With respect, goals in pre season mean nothing and every year, your pre season is weak.

playing newmains, your 20s, caley locos… not very exciting

To be fair, this is the same at all levels of football. Unless a 20's kid is exceptionally talented (In which case he probably isn't in Tier 6) he isn't going to get huge amounts of game time, especially their first season or 2. As you know, playing against kids your own age, to then be pitched in against a Beith, Talbot, Pollok etc.etc. is a very big ask. I think the fact that young Oisin is vice capt only 2 years after playing 20's football speaks volumes about him, but it is a rarity.

You are right. A very good chance Beith would not have won the league without him with the really important goals he scored . 1 against Clydebank as no doubt you will remember
