Nightmare
Just now, Mark Connolly said: Unusual enough for one Scottish team to get a late equaliser in Europe, but that's now three in the same week Very different circumstances in the two games tonight as well. Killie playing some muck outfit and getting a late draw to save their blushes, while St Mirren apparently outplayed but stealing a result. It’ll be very tough in Bergen but that’s given Saints a better chance.
brannfakkel
Shouldn’t St Mirren do fair play right before the goal there? Edited August 8 by brannfakkel

Lex
FT 1-1 Analyse that, some laugh. Got absolutely bodied for about 60 minutes but somehow kept it 0-0 through a combination of superb goal keeping and them missing sitters. Get a bit of a foothold in the game somehow for about 10 mins and get our first corner. Smyth boots it straight out the park, FFS. From the goal kick they somehow miss another two glorious chances and score from the corner. Frustrating but can’t say not deserved. Game fizzling out to a deserved loss then Brann player goes down injured when their goalie has the ball in their hands. Their goalie throws it out for our throw so the injured player can get treatment. Shaun Rooney promptly grabs it and indicates he won’t be giving them it back. Norwegians understandably fizzing and theres a captains debate going on between Fraser and his counterpart before the throw in is even taken. Naturally we take the throw in, get a corner from it, and Toyosi pokes home the equaliser. Some tasty looking scenes between the teams walking off. Next week going to be fun! PB1994
Just now, tarapoa said: I saw some arguing at the end - what happened? The Brann keeper kicked the ball out of play as one of their players were down “injured”. St Mirren didn’t bother giving the ball back, launching the throw in the box instead. Win a corner and from that move they got the equaliser. Not surprised they are raging about it but get it up them.

Think there was a bit of ill feeling already after the Brann goalie play acting to waste time just prior.,

Depends how you feel about blatant time wasting and whether you think that's fair play, tbh.

There’s no obligation to “play fair” and give the ball back. If a team are rolling around on the floor for no reason other than to waste time, then that’s not exactly fair play either.

But I guess you do fair play differently in Scotland. Difference between being cynic and not doing fair play. Anyway, you did what you felt to get the goal and you did. Nothing we can do with that than be better at taking our own chances. Should be a good game next week, hopefully we can intimidate you at Brann stadion and get some goals.

sergie's no1 fan
Probably the best team iv seen outwith Celtic in their peak. The way they passed the ball about, wow. Lucky to still be in the tie and I don't think we have much chance over there but we showed some guts. Rooney earned us that goal, no chance he was giving the ball back to them.

Up to the ref to stop the game and that was the 2nd or 3rd incident of time wasting. You're a good team and were totally in control of the game, no need for it at all. I'd be looking at your keeper if wanting to point the finger at anyone.
