Nice sentiment but W&B are an utter waste of time. It's not a one or two season situation so should be euthanised asap.

Why ? Do they make any difference to you or your Club whatsoever ?

They're a bunch of mainly young lads enjoying their football , what’s the problem with that ? They’ll be no different to several teams down the bottom of lower reaches of the East and West with are far more limited catchment area !

Are there no amateur teams in that region?

Not any longer , only the Dumfries Sunday League at the other end of the region

Pyramid schmyramid. The only bearing it has on that is the fact that they can remain at Tier 6 and play in the SC year after year. It's nothing personal against anyone involved with the club.

Their Tier is irrelevant to their Licence ! Look at Carluke and Hawick

Today's 3 results

Nithsdale 5-1 Saints

Reserves 1-1 Vale

Uppers 7-0 W&B

Vale drop first points of season Reserves show they are in it for the long haul.

Battle of the Wanderers ends with a convincing win for the Sanquhar boys.

Uppers show they are an improving team. Really worrying times for W&B; 1 goal for, an own goal, with 39 conceded in 6 for an average of 6.5 per game.

Lochar ended 2-0

Vale continue to set the pace. W&B keep the score down at least.

Star rout Nithsdale to keep pace with leading group.

Both NS and Creetown good wins to keep moving in top half.

Lochar with good solid win over Reserves who are showing they are competing.

Uppers and Lochmaben too easily swept aside.

Saints and Mids share points in entertaining six goal thriller, to move away from poor W&B.

Any hope for the SoS sides in the cup this weekend?

Looks to be tough draws for Newton Stewart and Creetown against Jeanfield and Cumnock. I have no idea how good Girvan are so can’t comment on St Cuthbert's. Would fancy Dalbeattie to win their draw against Whitehill Welfare. The real intriguing one is W&B away to amateur cup champions Cupar Hearts, who beat Abbey Vale 5-0 last season.

Not confident, 0/5 looks most likely outcome.

Finding it difficult to make a case for any of our clubs.

Unfortunate. Dalbeattie maybe the best hope. Would like to see it.
