In other signing news.

We've  just hired a new physio, from over the road

I hear he has been brought in especially for Ryan Strain.

Happy with Ryan Strain. Massive upgrade on what we have.

When was the last time we had a decent RB? Sean Dillion? Kova?

If any c**t says Liam Smith they're getting red dots

I’m hearing Morton are interested in taking Grimshaw on loan.

That would be win/win all round?

Don't tease us...

Anyone know if its a back 3 today v Brechin, or is the new guy playing right back?

By the line up we could do a ton of different systems

It was a back 3 1st half then looked like just Declan Gallagher at the back on his own 2nd half when Holt got taken off injured

First half

Richards

Sevelj ...... Cleall-Harding ...... Graham

Domeracki .... Docherty .... Constable ... Ferry

Fotheringham ... Moult...... MacLeod

Second half started as

 Newman

Grimshaw.... Gallagher .... Holt

Forbes... O'Donnell... Sibbald .... Middleton

Mwangi... Stirton ... Watt

Then after about 5 minutes Holt took a face knock and we played about 15 with 10 men as Ross Graham warmed up to come back on only to be told by the linesman that he couldn't because he'd already been subbed off (which is fair enough because you can't come back on after being subbed but then you can't ordinarily make 11 subs at half time either). Borland eventually came on and played in midfield which left Middleton notionally playing LCH, although he spent most of the time playing right up the park on the left wing and nobody really played on the left side of defence.

Lovely sunny day and it's a braw wee ground. Cleall-Harding and O'Donnell looked good..

Strain may have struggled physically but you have to factor in that training facilities and intensity at Utd will be levels above he has participated in before.

Don't underestimate the mental pressure of being at a club where you simply have to win each week. Talent isnt enough

How did the 3 new boys look and was the injury to Holt as bad as it sounds?
