ArabianKnight
Btw seen this mentioned on twitter but this guy's versatility and strengths have totally changed my mind on how we are going to be lining up next season. Sevelj Holt/Gallagher Graham Thomson Docherty Sibbald Ferry As the back and midfield. Back 5 when not in possession and Thomson and Ferry pushing up when we are. Front 3 will be a mix of any of the attacking players we'll have. Means ideally we get another good quality CM in with Grimshaw being a back up for a few other positions now. Definitely need another LB/LWB too.

Agree on the shape but I think we'll have a first choice rwb coming in with Thomson providing competition / cover for that spot and competing with Fotheringham further forward. If we do go with 3/5 then Middleton or Trapanovski probably cover lwb; if it's a 4 then Holt, Graham or Thomson can fill in. I think Grimshaw will go once a few more bodies come in. Wouldn't personally trust him at rwb or central mid.

I was thinking it would be 3-4-3 with Middleton/Trapanovski/Fotheringham/Thomson all vying for the outer forward spots.
Alert Mongoose
"When compared with players aged 23 and under competing in the 2023/24 Prva Liga, he made the most passes into the final third, boasted a 71% duel success rate and snuffed out 204 opposition passes - more than any of his peers. Yeah, I'm probably on the same page, just suggesting that if we're playing with wing backs then there's the option of the wingers providing competition and cover for those positions rather than signing another specialist wing back / full back.

ArabianKnight
Love it. Just simple and spot on. Maybe the away and a third will be more adventurous but for a home top that's just perfect.
