Normal order must be restored. Vale, Mids, Uppers; you know what needs to happen tomorrow. The world, nae the universe must be rebalanced. An Absolute Imposter
Last weekend of friendlies and its quite busy. Plus Abbey Vale entertain Larkhall Thistle from WOSFL (boo). Mids play host to Ashfield (feckin boo). Uppers travel to deepest, darkest East Dunbartonshire to sample the delights that is the Huntershill Hub (double feckin boo). The future of mankind is in the hands of these 3 Dumfriesshire clubs. Don't feck it up lads. Lochmaben are babysitting the Threave Weans apparently.

They are an amateur team but id say they have better quality players than Nithsdale. Most of their team played to a decent standard in the Ayrshire juniors.

There's a topic for another day. Is it time to go the full hog with football! The distinction between Junior and Senior is behind us now, with all these teams at the same 'grade'. Is it time for the ammies to 'join up'. Seen the amateur cup holders play Abbey Vale in Scottish last season, impressive outfit. There are a number of ammie teams, even down here, who would more than hold their own in the pyramid leagues. Won't happen of course, our governing bodies aren't interested in football. Just a few clubs at the top of the ladder.

It was a wee laugh intended for some posters who question the validity of south clubs in the pyramid. If just if The football clubs in Scotland want change, this could be achieved in a heartbeat with a proper and very serious movement driven with organised leadership with a proper structure at its beating heart.
