Forfar young team didn't half make a total arse of themselves today to be fair, just all around before you get to the brick incident. Just wee guys aged 12-16 thinking they've got the power in a group.

On the game, I was really impressed by Muirhead, thought he showed a lot of his quality and getting his goal from the free kick was a solid result for him. Sole looked good too, took his goal really well. Other standouts for me from the new signings, Liam Smith, Danny Finlayson, Ryan McGowan. Had expected Tete to do a little more, he seemed to struggle in the physical battle a bit today.

Yeah Tete has been disappointing in the pre season and cup game(s), expected more of him after seeing how good he was last season. Early days right enough, he'll hopefully find his feet soon.

Glad my early assessment of Muirhead has turned out a tad premature, him and Sole are looking good in the games since, and he's looking a decent set piece taker too.

ffs, I've just put up my game review and gave them a glowing mention for their singing/atmosphere and now this ☹️

Yeah the young ultras are great for atmosphere at games, ours has even been good in the pre season games, helping them feel like proper games and not just a kick about. Shame more and more incidents like this are happening at games and ruining their good rep supporting their teams.

Nice of a Forfar "fan" throwing a brick through the window of the Livi supporters bus today.

Top quality banter.

Some of that "young team" were some absolute fannies.

Forfar vs Spartans will be the ultimate bring your maw game then. They got chased trying to damage the Pars supporters bus.

10 year olds running about with balaclavas on genuinely hilarious, absolutely shat it when the polis turned up. Strange thing for wee guys to be into, must make their families so proud.

Watched second half of the Pars game. Side to side passing with no end product from the home side.

Deserved win for Forfar and could have added one later on but Skelly fluffed his opportunity.

Early days but Dunfermline lacking creativity and any kind of spark.

Hartley getting his jotters

I think if anyone associated with the club was willing and able to pay off his remaining 2 years he'd be gone. We supposedly lost our main sponsor (ACE) as he wanted Hartley gone but never got his way so walked.

3.5 year contract after leaving for Hartlepool, failing there, and then crawling back is astounding to be fair. Should have been to end of Championship season at the very most and then reevaluate.

He better get the loans right or it could be a very difficult first quarter.

Well didn't see that one coming. Didn't see much in the fog!

We played some really good stuff and scored good goals. Cammy Russell got MotM for 3 assists and 2 goals.

Cammy Russell ran us ragged to be fair. Brilliant performance.

Very impressed with Spartans.

Well shaped, disciplined, creative and all players looked cohesive. Attacked with intent.

Cove make the short journey down to Station Park after being obliterated by Spartans midweek. Hartley's woes continue with everything he touches turning to the proverbially.

Hard to see today being any better. Mitch might return after getting married recently and missing all preseason friendlies whilst being on honeymoon. Personally think he's better off extending that a few weeks.

We're 5 short in key areas according to the manager and expect to use the loan market heavily before our opening league game in 2 weeks against Annan.

Gillingham and Kerr at CB is sadly the gift that will keep giving. If Mitch misses out Grady will be ploughing a lone furrow up top.

Loons coming off an excellent away win and clean sheet against Championship Dunfermline. Must be on a high and looking to back that win up with another.

Although this is L2 v L1, it wouldn't surprise anyone to see a home win.

And no one was surprised.

Game could have easily ended 4-0 Forfar.

2-0 with a competent ref.

Draw was probably just about right.  First 20-25 we should have been 2 or 3 up. After that cove kind of got their shit together .

wont be surprised to see cove struggle this season

Spartans were the best side I saw at Borough Briggs last season. Great team
