Better than Clarke’s plan.

It's basically identical to us against Germany here, arguably even more one-sided, unfortunately we had Ryan Christie as the out-ball typically since all our top level players are left-backs and central midfielders.

It's a tactic which can work if you frustrate them long enough, but blows up in your face if you concede early.

For all the 'they want to walk it in' chat, Spain have at times played like it's the last 5 minutes of the mat h.

I have no idea where that's coming from, it's been the opposite of that, they've been trying to force it constantly since minute one.

Even their goal was like ours v Germany!

It's basically been shooty in from the first minute. All this brave Georgia chat 😂 All they've done is given the ball to a world class winger and told him to run fast as f**k as far away from their under siege goal as possible.

And yet, here they are in the last 16 - when they should have been the worst team in the competition by a distance.

This should be about 5. Yamal should score there.

He didn’t score because I got him in the sweepstake.

Nah they have played high tempo all game. Maybe too fast at times, should be taking these chances. Match should be done.

Why is this such a big deal? They got a Portugal team who had downed tools, played well and got through. Very fortunate in many ways.. Happens all the time in club football whereby a smaller side wins a game unexpectedly. I'm aware you are trying to further decry Scotland with your comment but it's completely irrelevant.
