speckled tangerine
Starmer following Johnson in proving that Scotland is a country far, far away of which they know little.

welshbairn
Who needs policies when you have a new slogan? With "new" in it! And " leadership"! In capital letters! https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-54203162

Miguel Sanchez
It can't just be me who thinks there's an air of redundancy in unveiling "A New Leadership" as a slogan some five months after the new leadership started.

John Lambies Doos
Starmer's speech is terrific. If we had him in charge, UK would never have had Covid, everyone would be in full employment and the NHS would have 60m staff.
Sherrif John Bunnell
How long until Starmer is displaying a giant concrete slab with "CONTROLS ON IMMIGRATION" proudly printed on it?
Wee-Bey
Labour turning back into a bunch of union jack shagging weirdos is as depressing as it is predictable. The tories will always do it better, therefore anyone who gets turned on by this, which is a small group made up of rangers fans, racists and our media, will just vote for the real deal.

You have to wonder how much of their money goes into paying people to tell them, “just do what didn’t work last time - but LOUDER!”
John Lambies Doos
I never knew that Starmer was only the second person to lead the eh em... labour movement that was called Keir. Genuinely surprised he'd never mentioned that before....

zidane's child
I can summarise it as "desperate times, desperate measures" Labour must win those "red wall" seats back that they lost last year and get the Tory majority down as much as they can. If that means playing up to the little Englanders slightly then so be it. I did read somewhere previously that opinion polls on Corbyn were that he wasn't patriotic enough.
NotThePars
I don’t think there’s anyone who has as much contempt for their membership and the electorate as the Labour Right. It’s even funnier when they revert to type and recycle the hits over the “must-win” regions like Scotland and the Red Wall.
