The goal we lost last week was on Ayunga, why did he decide to glance his header while in his own penalty box, defending a set piece. If you are in position to defend the ball, then he should be heading it straight back the way it’s coming or putting his full head on it to clear the ball for a corner. The Van Veen volley, the Van Veen low shot, Odowu skipping past three players before Gordon tipped over, Toyosi blasting one over… we made chances and while Hearts had a fair bit of the ball too, I never really felt we would blow the lead. I think there were talk of a Killie player giving Ayunga a wee nudge, just prior to him heading the ball that could have been the reason for his header direction.
