Airdrie defeat Ayr

Recommended Posts

Oakley was more about winning the ball back and hassling defenders in to making mistakes, he basically did f**k all for 6 weeks as a main forward.

He looked more like his old self on Saturday, hopefully McLennan can get up to speed soon and they can form something.

I think the most likely lineup on Saturday will have McMann, Musonda and Stanger in defence somewhere. A goalkeeper picked at random, hopefully Murphy, Henderson, Dempsey and Rus in midfield with Oakley and McLennan up front.

We should win as Airdrie have been shite and we looked a lot better apart from the stuff Brown f**ked about with that never work.

2-0 Airdrie.

For all the chat of injuries etc - we could actually field 10 of the 11 that started the 5-0 game (which seems a long long time ago!)

Will we set up different this time ,would play with 2 upfront, who it would be I have not a clue, and for keeper toss a coin ,ATS. In for a specific job, strange things happen in football,Rangers  had a good win so you never know,

We've a fully fit squad except for dowds

I suppose McAvoy still counts as injured, and I refuse to believe that Devlin will ever fall in to the category of fully fit haha.

You could field just that 10 and win 5-0 again.

If there’s no proper full-backs fit again, and/or neither Aiken or Agyemang can start in midfield for at least a *little* bit of dig then this will be a complete disaster. Biggest problem though is that to win any game we’re going to have to score at least 2 and most weeks it looks inconceivable that we’ll even score 1.
