Fudge
This doesn't get on my nerves, but I thought it was worth putting somewhere. Now generally it's seen as a sign of intelligence when you pick a lower league team over the Old Firm. However, any thread I've read from the highland league forum is absolute retarded jibberish. It's as if they're typing with their elbows or something. Have you seen the nick of the people up there? They're all inbred weirdos who speak in a strange, indistinguishable language. The same goes for people from Annan. None of them type in proper English either.

GypsyTillIDie
Arbroath away postponed due to high winds. At least I was only at Bridgeton when I found out, unlike some others who had left Cumbernauld at 8.40. I imagine they're halfway pished by now though, so it's not a total waste.

Raith Against The Machine
What a poofy reason to cancel a game of football. There speaks someone who's never been to Arbroath. The victims of Hurricane Katrina were sitting on their roofs thinking that it could be worse, and they could've been at Gayfield. calum_gers
Apparently when the Ref tried to take a bye kick, the ball came back and blew over his head. Excellent, sounds like football in the Western Isles. Game on!
calum_gers
What an odd thing to say. Not particularly. People in central Scotland get far too worked up over a breeze. Edited October 3, 2009 by calum_gers

calum_gers
Arbroath isn't in Central Scotland. I'm making a point in general. I'm well fucking aware where Arbroath is. Edited October 3, 2009 by calum_gers
Fudge
I'm making a point in general. I'm well fucking aware where Arbroath is. Are you suggesting that if the referee takes a bye kick and the ball blows right back at him the he should allow and SFL game to go ahead?
calum_gers
Are you suggesting that if the referee takes a bye kick and the ball blows right back at him the he should allow and SFL game to go ahead? Yes, it might encourage teams to keep the ball on the deck!!

xbl
Yeah...Sorry i forgot Old firm fans aren't allowed to make throwaway comments on here... I think the point is that if the ref has postponed an Arbroath game, then its going to be a bit more than "a breeze"! I've seen games going ahead where keepers have caught their own goal kicks, free kicks have been taken with someone holding the ball in place with their hand, and goalies have been given buckets of sand to keep the ball in place! So if this one has been postponed, it must have been a helluva wind up there.
calum_gers
Not really a 'throwaway comment' when you make the same point 3 times. Right, people in central scotland make too much of a breeze....they do, that's completely unrelated to the game today though. Poofy excuse for a game being called, i was making joke because i've played in similiar/worse uist, ableit not at the same level. Ball on the deck, if you can't take that as a joke, then you're the stupid one not me. Anyway who really cares, if it bothers you that much i apologise.
