Then did the extra training to become a midwife. Not usually my type of thing, but I really, really enjoyed it. I didn't like the single at first, but as you say, it grew on me. 6 songs in and only one good song, Antwerpen, and I heard that months ago when they put it up for download on their website. You can be a nurse and then train as a midwife or just do midwifery. So, yes there is a difference. It fucking annoyed the tits off me when I was a midwife and someone said I was a nurse. so they're not even nurses then? I thought the answer was going to be well technically they were but had specialist knowledge of a niche bit of nursing (like a nurse practitioner -nurse in a suit- or something), but to not even be nurse is quite shocking. Virtually a herbalist/pilates instructor then...a little bit of an awkward position i put myself in there as now I have to say something constructive which might not offend....... I can see how that would annoy people. After all, there are expectations of ability/responsibility/pay differences. Like being on a plane and someone asks if a doctor is on board well yes, except I am a dermatologist!
