booitsme7
Well Done Scotland on finally winning. Good luck to Afghanistan in Group 1 where I personally think their could win a game. Bangladesh v Oman tomorrow for last spot in the Super 10s in group 2.
lionel hutz
Scotland now have a 100% record when they play in pink at the World Cup. Should be the new primary kit colour. tbh I quite like the Scottish pink kit, it looked a bit 90s on a few of the players, mind.
peasy23
Thought Scotland were excellent today, bowled some decent stuff and the way they batted then I think they would have taken out the full 128 target if they had to. Great way to seal the win with Machan belting it for 6.
peasy23
Ireland finished with a defeat, with their match against the Dutch reduced to 6 overs each. Ireland were set a target of 60 but could only reach 47-7. Another brilliant catch taken by the Dutch. booitsme7
Bangladesh scored 180-2 from their 20 overs against Oman with Tamim Iqbal (103*) hitting his maiden T20 hundred which is also the first of the tournament.
peasy23
England taking on Mumbai in a warm up match with Vince, Buttler, Willey and Rashid all guesting for the locals. England ended on 177, with Willey taking a hat trick with the last 3 balls dismissing Root, Moeen and Jordan.

Eednud
Last round of Sheffield Shield games started today. Day 1 of SA v Tas has seen 14 wickets fall with about 90 minutes play. SA bowled Tas out for 91 with Sayers taking 7/46 SA are 4/136. Game being played at suburban Glenelg Oval as Adelaide Oval being prepared for AFL season. Vic v NSW game being played in Alice Springs as MCG also out of bounds. If NSW make Grand Final as home team then Coffs Harbor instead of SCG. Ridiculous situation that the premier domestic cricket comp has to finish so late and let aerial ping pong win. Fuctifano
NZ decided to leave out Boult and Southee, play 3 spinners, and hope to win by batting. They're 35/3 after 7 overs. Oops.
Fuctifano
also, no DRS in the tournament, India already benefitting from this with Guptill's LBW.
Fuctifano
India 10/2, maybe a good decision after all.

FuzzyBear
42/6 Dhoni is India's last hope.
Fuctifano
Kane Williamson > me, and 95% of the cricket writers on twitter, unless Dhoni can pull off a miracle.
peasy23
All out 48 runs short. That's how to shut up a crowd.
peasy23
also, no DRS in the tournament, India already benefitting from this with Guptill's LBW. Usual ICB bending to the Indians. Ludicrous that they have all the technology but won't use it. Scotland did get the benefit on Saturday though with an absolutely plumb lbw decision that wasn't given.
booitsme7
Pakistan scored 201-5 against Bangladesh. It's only the 2nd time Pakistan have scored over 200 in a T20 and the other time was against Bangladesh as well.
booitsme7
Pakistan cruised to victory in the opening match of today beating Bangladesh by 55 runs. peasy23
Love watching Gayle when he is in this mood, 79 from 36 with Windies on 146-4 with 6 overs left. Just over a run a ball required.
booitsme7
Gayle gets his hundred from 47 balls. WI only 10 runs away from victory.
