peasy23
It was dorlomin I think. I don’t think he needs to apologise, as I slightly agree with him. Perhaps not the ‘not lived up to his potential part’ but I think he could be more consistently better. The likes of Holder, Jadeja and the now banned Shakib manage to keep up stellar averages both bowling and batting at the same time, unlike Stokes due to his lack of consistency. But in terms of a moments player, I’m not sure there’s anybody better than Stokes. The Cristiano Ronaldo of cricket. He's certainly done it big time when it matters. His average is only 36 odd, but all too often he has come in while everything has collapsed around about him, and has been left with only the tail for support.

His average is only 36 odd, but all too often he has come in while everything has collapsed around about him, and has been left with only the tail for support. That’s kind of my point, a big game player. Definitely lived up to his potential, but the reason his bowling and batting averages aren’t great is because he’s not consistent. Will hit a big hundred but then won’t do much for a while. Look at his Ashes stats, 2 big not out hundreds, 2 50s but then didn’t break 26 in his other 6 innings. There’s a pattern to it, it’s why his average is 36. A great big game player, England’s best batsman in 2019 but not the Kallis that some media types seem to think.
die hard doonhamer
Jimmy ruled out of the rest of the tour with a rib injury. Vitally important that Archer is fit for the next one.

peasy23
Pakistan & West Indies this summer should see to thatCertainly hope so, would be quite happy if he skipped the rest of the winter tours and got himself 100% for the summer.

Sir Tarmo Kink
Putting the Windies-Ireland 2nd ODI on. The Kensington Oval at Barbados is a beautiful ground, probably my favourite cricket ground I have been to. Superb setting too, lucky enough to have been 4 times.
Sir Tarmo Kink
The Windies are quite remarkably making a mess of a modest run chase against Ireland at home. Evin Lewis and Shimron Hetmyer playing ridiculous shots to get themselves out, to the surprise of absolutely nobody.

PB1994
Great start from Ireland.Don’t know much about this but I presume the windies should still be getting the total needed.
Sir Tarmo Kink
Great start from Ireland.Don’t know much about this but I presume the windies should still be getting the total needed. They should but they’ve only really got Hope, Pooran and Pollard left that can bat really. They need Hope to stay in a construct the innings while Pooran and Pollard score highly.
topcat(The most tip top)
Great start from Ireland. Don’t know much about this but I presume the windies should still be getting the total needed. Windies are still favourites but by no means nailed on You can currently back them at 8/11 (Ladbrokes) or Ireland at 13/10 (888)
Sir Tarmo Kink
Ireland have fucked it a bit by bowling their opening batsmen to Pooran, 3 4s out of 3 balls

Sir Tarmo Kink
Ireland have mind-bogglingly bowled Delany again after being pinged by Pooran the previous over. Pollard absolutely melting boundaries. Ireland have lost the game because of these two overs, idiots. 33 runs from 2 overs! Pollard on 23 off 7
