Very jealous of two of my pals who were down for day 3 and raging at myself for not taking a ticket.
jaggyness
Got to feel a bit for Mitchell. His remarkable first innings century totally overshadowed.
Savage Henry
Just now, jaggyness said: Got to feel a bit for Mitchell. His remarkable first innings century totally overshadowed. Yeah. Fielding aside, New Zealand actually played pretty well there. They probably thought they had a real chance of winning this when they were bowled out.

I always think it's hard to make above 3.75/over in Test conditions, currently it would be about 3.4. Obviously not that hard....
jaggyness
Yeah. Fielding aside, New Zealand actually played pretty well there. They probably thought they had a real chance of winning this when they were bowled out. Yeah, Jamieson being unable to bowl obviously hindered them as well cos southee and Boult looked knackered. I wonder if we'll see any changes for England in the final test. The ODIs start this week too against the Netherlands.
die hard doonhamer
Watched/listened to that on various trains and station platforms heading down south this afternoon. That was a very special test match, and an incredible innings but Bairstow to win it. Absolutely sensational stuff.
peasy23
A smoke and a pancake required for the Netherlands after England rack up an astounding 498-4. Buttler hit 162 from 70 balls, Malan 122 from 90 and Salt 125 from 80. Livingstone had a late cameo bashing 66 from 22 balls. Roy was out for 1 and Morgan a duck.
peasy23
Another duck for Eoin Morgan as England record another comfortable win over the Netherlands.
jaggyness
Morgan out of the final ODI today with injury. Fully expect England to rack up another massive total in his absence, particularly since he's not there.
FuzzyBear
Nicholls out after a bizarre incident. Hits it well and straight, bounces off Mitchell's bat straight into the fielders hands 20 yards away .
Fuctifano
Boult's first 3 overs have been ridiculous, clean bowled 2 of the top 3 with massive swing
PB1994
And he’s picked up a third. Another excellent ball but what is Crawley up to.
Bishop Briggs
Root goes. 21-4.
PB1994
Now Southee joins in on the act. He gets Root who nicks one behind. 21-4. The bowling has been fantastic.
PB1994
I do like this is aggressive brand of cricket England are playing as it is very entertaining and great to watch but you just feel they will have a couple of innings where they are bowled out for 70. I suppose you could argue they did that plenty anyway.
FuzzyBear
Brainless batting from Stokes. Should not be doing that at 50/4.

jaggyness
Overton and Bairstow taking it to the Kiwis since teaNot quite as spectacular as trent Bridge but still huge fun to see. Overton will have the best batting avg of any England player after this innings [emoji23]
