Fuctifano
Wonder what odds you can get on it being done by lunch tomorrow. Anderson goes early, Collingwood with his dodgy finger is bounced out leaving 145/5. Bell= 145/6. Prior not the man to save a game, swats a run-a-ball 25, but 4 wickets down in the first hour. Can see it happening. Think England's best hope is Trott upping the time he takes inbetween each delivery to 45 minutes. Yoss
Three down overnight then. If memory serves there were four down overnight in the famous Atherton Test in Jo'burg. So still some hope but not much.
Guest The Phoenix
I love it when night watchmen frustrate the hell out of the fielding side. Here's hoping.

No8.
What is the record for Maiden overs in an innings. Anyway with Bell and Collingwood playing like this there is certainly hope..In fact it is getting more and more likely the draw. i was in 2 minds whether to post this as i would hate to jinx them
Yoss
230/5 at tea, terrific session from Bell and Collingwood. 36 overs they've been togther, 33 left to survive with Prior, Broad and Swann (and Onions) still to come. Bookies now have the draw as odds-on favourite, but I can't help thinking that's slightly premature. Reckon there'll be some nervous moments still to come.
drs
Bore draw written all over it, should be going for the win.
Savage Henry
Bore draw written all over it, should be going for the win. You must be watching a different test to me. If England get a draw out of this they'll have done brilliantly. There was never any chance of them getting 460 to win. Unless of course you think South Africa should be more attacking, in which case I agree. Either way, it'll be a nailbiter.
capybara
Well i would rather have Collingwood at the crease than Pietersen in a situation like this.
No8.
Why are they going with the 2 spinners? They are hardly attacking bowlers and there is little rough to use.
Cowden til i die
Well i would rather have Collingwood at the crease than Pietersen in a situation like this. Thats a given. Hopefully they can see out the remaining overs and get a hard fought raw ot of this test
qpsnapper
Collingwood out for 42 first over after drinks, still 14 overs to go. 272-6
stimpy
Just under an hour to take 4 wickets? Pity it's a flat dead pitch and they've got no spinners, would love this to be exciting.
Yoss
Seven down, twelve overs left. Edit: sorry, eleven left. Edited January 7, 2010 by Yoss

qpsnapper
Fairly tense when you are reading on the BBC text, come on Belly I have always believed in you.... It's a nightmare "watching" it on the BBC text. 282-7, 7 overs left.
