Arthur Orton
Good Test match going on in South Africa. India on top. On Sky Sports 3. Yes its compelling viewing and its wonderful to see the great Jacques Kallis move closer to 300 test wickets.
Bearwithme
Kallis really is a great cricketer. Test batting average of over 55 and very close to 200 catches as well. India leading by 420 with 8 wickets down. Big ask for SA in the last innings....

Kohli looks like the next Indian superstar.

booitsme7
Hearing that he would have retired after the 5th test. So with the ashes lost already and at 34 he has just decided to retire now giving Monty the last 2 tests matches.
dorlomin
Graeme Swann retires with immediate affect. Strange strange timing. Will go down as an all time great of English spin bowling. But his injuries have caught up with him.
dorlomin
Kallis really is a great cricketer. Test batting average of over 55 and very close to 200 catches as well. In his youth he was a regular in the world top ten bowling stats as well. Even among South African all rounders he was head and shoulders above.
Eednud
Will they bring a replacement spinner into the squad or stick with Monty? Edited December 22, 2013 by Eednud
capybara
While Swann may well have retired after the series, this will be seen by some as the man leaving the sinking ship. Would it not have been better to see the series out?
Uncle Psychosis
While Swann may well have retired after the series, this will be seen by some as the man leaving the sinking ship. Would it not have been better to see the series out? I agree, I don't think much of it myself. Suspect he was told he wasn't going to play and had instead decided to "jump" instead of being pushed.
Benjamin_Nevis
Swann probably wants to get home to his family, rather than hang around a series which is already fucked for England, when he's going to retire anyway. Perfectly understandable thinking IMO. Panesar has the worst wicket-taking celebration ever, I'm quite looking forward to seeing him brutalised all over the park in the remaining tests.
Bearwithme
South Africa 195 for 3, target 458. The great Kallis is 34 not out. India still favourites but SA are clearly not out of it. Pity Swann has gone. A terrific bowler and a character too. But nothing lasts forever.
Bearwithme
Kallis has gone for 34. 300th Test wicket for Zaheer Khan. Well done to him. Kallis was given lbw when he got a big nick on it. No reviews in this series of course. India well set.
Arthur Orton
Looking good for South Africa at the moment in what has been a wonderful test match.
jmothecat
Enjoying this, South Africa need 145 to win.
jmothecat
Only 84 required to win now. India still need 6 wickets.
Fuctifano
Wonder if the light will come into play, fielders struggling to see the ball.
Lex
This has been a fantastic test match, a much higher standard here than we seen at the ashes.
