Anyone been watching New Zealand v India? The Indians seemed to be in total control, leading by 246 after the first innings, and reducing New Zealand to 94/5 in their second innings. But then Brendon McCullum and BJ Watling put on 352 for the 6th wicket (the highest ever 6th wicket partnership), batting together for well over a day. McCullum is still there on 281 not out, with New Zealand now leading by over 300.

Take a bow McCullum. That's a remarkable fightback from New Zealand, and almost certainly saved the game. You really have to question whether any of the England team could have done the same.

Indeed. Watching a bit of it last night, I had that very same thought. It's been a brilliant innings, I hope he gets his 300.

Fielding for 200 overs, couldn't happen to a nicer group of lads.

Great to see New Zealand do well, they've had a tough few years, but Brendon McCallum was superb there. They should declare soon unless they are waiting for a bowler to get 200

Sharma went from 6-51 in his first innings to 0-164, pitiful this innings.

Anyone catch India vs Scotland in the U19 CWC this morning?

After being bowled out for 88, our young lads had india at 25/5, but India managed to see out the win.

It means we must now beat Pakistan to qualify for the Super Sixes.

We lost by 146 runs only made 162 to their 308/7

Interesting article. The comment about getting himself out rather than a good ball is bang on, although he was got out plenty times falling for obvious traps. Some might argue bowling to a plan results in a/the good ball - the hook line and sinker moment needs to be right often enough to be effective.
