peasy23
NZ will be starting to think about when to declare! England have really suffered in this match for not having a bowler that they can use to tie up one end. Catching has been poor too.
booitsme7
New Zealand 454-8 Dec leaving England a record run chase of 455 to win. Edited June 1, 2015 by booitsme7
die hard doonhamer
171 overs to get it. England need to be sensible, there is loads of time left to get it. Lose 2 or 3 wickets quickly and it will be game over.
peasy23
England have done the first bit they had to do, reaching lunch without loss at 32-0. Edit: The weather is doing it's bit for England, only 4 overs after lunch before rain stopped play, England 44-0. Fuctifano
England bat quite deep now with Ali at 8 so they can still get out of this, especially if the weather helps them. There was never any chance they were going for it today.
Lex
Bell's hopeless and he needs dropping. If it wasn't for the old boys network he'd be out and Pietersen would be in. Imagine the damage Starc and Johnstone are going to do to this batting line up in the ashes... Would be quite a remarkable survival if England could bat for the rest day after being 60-4 after a couple of hours. Come on the weather, and come on the Kiwis Edited June 2, 2015 by Lex
WullieBroonIsGod
Attacking batsman in Buttler and Stokes (and to a degree Broad) so McCullum won't mind them playing shots Cook will be the key

peasy23
Oh Moeen Was just going to post the same, total brain fart. It's now the highest scoring 2 game Test series in history.
AberdeenBud
Craig should have had his confidence shattered when England were on top in the first innings instead of being allowed to bowl at around at run an over and find his way into the game. Might not have made a huge amount of difference but just another example of England just not being ruthless enough when they're on top.
Lex
Broad away now, 188-8. This is turning into quite a humiliation for England.... They're surely going to lose this home test match by more than 200 runs... Kane Williamson by the way, not just a world class batsmen but can also bowl a bit too. What a player.
Fuctifano
This Kiwi team are the fucking boys, even if they don't win they make the whole shebang worth watching. They must wish they could wind back Vettori about 15 years, that's really what they're missing. Might have been a bit harsh on Craig, he's done more than a good job here. Deserved win, 1-1 series score a fair result. Both teams coming back from shocking starts in the first innings to win.
