peasy23
Drysdale tied for the lead heading down the last. Nervy play all round. Playoff. Both him and Campillo missed birdie putts, both went close but Campillo was just one roll short from going in.
peasy23
Both birdie the 18th, Campillo holing from downtown, leaving Drysdale to knock in a tricky downhill putt to half the hole.

Bugger.
peasy23
Both hit pars the third time round, back to the tee again.
peasy23
Drysdale has hit 5 drives down 18 in the last hour that you could throw a blanket over. Light starting to fade, so now buggying the players down to hit their seconds.
peasy23
Pars again. Back to the 18th tee for the 5th time in the playoff. This might be the last chance to settle it today.
peasy23
Gutted. Campillo holes another long putt, which Drysdale unfortunately couldn't match.
Ro Sham Bo
Gutted. Campillo holes another long putt, which Drysdale unfortunately couldn't match.Yeah that's a tough one to take. Campillo's putting was ridiculous in the play off.Drysdale just needs to take the positives. He's gone a long way to retaining his card and he never missed a shot in the 5 play off holes.A great effort.

Ro Sham Bo
Somebody in our press agreed with the c**t this week. Funny feeling it was Graham Speirs That wouldn't be a surprise. That play off today was between two essentially unknown players in world golf terms and the standard was superb. A great advert for the European Tour.

A great advert for the European Tour. To put it in context, in regulation play there was only 6 birdies on 18 all day out of 77 players, yet they managed 5 between them in the playoff. Scarily good quality under pressure.
die hard doonhamer
Bay Hill playing really tough again today. 2 shot lead for Hatton from Im at the moment, who is 2 ahead of McLeish and McIlroy. Rory in trouble at the moment though with his first tee shot out of bounds on 9 and his second go in the thick rough on a downslope as well. ETA: McLeish drops a further shot as I hit submit. Looks like Hatton or Im. Edited March 8, 2020 by die hard doonhamer
lichtie23
Rory has completely imploded. Out in 40
lichtie23
I know its been said all before but American golf fans are puddle drinking cretins. How can any player fully concentrate with idiots shouting "I was sleeping here" as they are teeing off?
die hard doonhamer
Hatton has a bad one at the 11th. Drops 2 and now in a share of the lead with Im.
Ro Sham Bo
Just now, die hard doonhamer said: Hatton has a bad one at the 11th. Drops 2 and now in a share of the lead with Im. Just turned it on and noticed he seemed to be making gestures back down the fairway. Possible noise from the gallery? Can't see Hatton being the type to put up with any of that.
