Europe started well this morning, but the early bits of blue have all but disappeared off the leaderboard. Hall and Boutier look done already, 3 down thru 7. Going along at a snail's pace too.

I think the one caveat there is that the course is an absolute monster. Yes, it's still probably a bit slow, but some of the walks between the greens and the next tee are enormous, and it's also hilly as f**k

All the more reason for players to avoid needless extra walks back to tees that they aren't hitting off then.

It appears to be an absolute shambles on site, saw a lot of tweets last night that it's not a good course for viewing and that they had run out of food and water early in the day. One reporter said it looked like they had sold 100k tickets but had only catered for 10k,  even the VIP area had been oversold and folk were having to sit in the floor and the stairs.

A repeat of yesterday's fourball score would be just fine this afternoon, woukd set it up lovely for tomorrow.

Great clutch putt by Grant at the end there. Stating the obvious but Europe need to not lose the afternoon session - a 3-1 win would be 👌.

Gemma Dryburgh can count herself unlucky not to be playing at all today after getting a half yesterday; Nordqvist a bit fortunate.  Will be interesting to see how Hull gets on after struggling so badly yesterday too.

Ciganda is getting the wins but she's Cantlay-level slow, or perhaps even slower if that is possible. At least she's out last this time.

I think what's happened to Dryburgh is a sign of how things will go for Bob next week unless he really shoots the lights out in the Friday fourball.
