Fuctifano Posted June 16, 2022 Share Posted June 16, 2022 (edited) Yeah, think groups would have the benefit of getting some of the weaker nations multiple games and also for TV, the stronger nations are less likely to get papped out first round in a group, you'd think it would be a no brainer for the organisers albeit they might have to shorten the format of the group matches even more.
