F_T_Y
I think thats what they call a scrappy game.I think jones attempt at the double 9 was in the big 14. 5-4 for walsh.
Marshmallo
I haven't seen much of the action this week but I really like this format. I wish they'd do the Premier League similar to this, maybe 4 groups of 4, playing each other twice. -
The Naitch
Missed the first match of the night, but home in time for the rest of the games. Jenkins wasn't at his best there, but enough to get past Phillips.
The Naitch
This game between Lewis and Part has been scrappy as f**k but pretty enjoyable too.
tigerton
I fucking love John Part. Cheerio Lewis!
The Naitch
Deserved win for Johnny Part - gives himself a chance of making it out of the group now.
F_T_Y
Watching lewis sometimes it amazes me he has won one never mind two world titles. Just so average at times. Edited November 12, 2012 by F_T_Y
Marshmallo
I expect that level of shite from Part but Lewis is much better than he's shown this year. -
Todd_is_God
Lewis is much better than he's shown this year. I don't know that he is. Apart from his 2 world championships (in which he was rather fortunate in both tournaments, this year especially), he's done very very little.
Todd_is_God
Gary Anderson. Pleasing.
F_T_Y
Great game. Not many times you see anderson win a close encounter like that. Part v O'Shea winner takes all in the last match.
Neilly
Good for Ando to win two final leg shoot outs should give him confidence going forward. Lewis is a special darts player and it wouldn't surprise me if he won the Worlds again this year he seems to come alive after being shite in the Grand Slam.
The Naitch
Was looking forward to that match with Kist and Barney, but it was a poor one. Kist takes it 5-4.
Neilly
Been a night of poor quality darts really. Hopefully another win for Harms this guy can go deep in the tournament.
Neilly
A wee montage of the 2007 World Final with The Jam playing in the background to close the show was epic there. That match is still the best of all time eh?

Davis Love III
No question. Second best for me is Lewis-Wade from last year's World Championship. You really think so? I'm not sure. It was certainly memorable, but I'm not convinced I'd include that near the top of a greatest matches list. Using just the PDC World Championship as the barometer, both the 2003 and 2004 Finals were better than that. You've also got the Harrington v Part semi final in 2001, and the Taylor v Mardle semi in 2006, which were both fantastic. Each to their own, but I could think of a good number of matches I enjoyed more than Lewis-Wade. Generally speaking, I felt that the 2012 PDC World Championship was arguably the best one staged yet, but with a lacklustre final letting it down. The dynamic to the World Championship ahead is rather intriguing, with touted contenders of years past not in the greatest of form, and with Michael van Gerwen emerging as a dominant player. We could easily see a Championship akin to that of 2008, when most of the big seeds fell early. That could conceivably occur again, and it opens the door for a number of others. And even if it doesn't, the top eight-ten players on the Order of Merit are all capable of winning outright, and should entail an enthralling Championship, regardless of who makes it through the early rounds.
