Adams is very lucky to make it to 21 as he's had a shocking year and wouldn't have qualified had the BDO not extended the Championships to 40 players.

They've just made the draw for the Prelim Round of the World Championships...

Rob Szabo vs Ian Moss
Devon Petersen vs Mohammed Latif Sapup
Gino Vos vs Ting Chi Royden Lam
Zoran Lerchbacher vs Ben Ward
Dennis Lindskjold vs Edward Santos
Morihiro Hashimoto vs Paul Lim
Colin McGarry vs Per Laursen
Julio Barbero vs Andree Welge
Disappointed that one of Hashimoto and Lim have to go out at this stage.

I only dip in and out of the darts, although last night I watched a bit then dreamt that I was at a tournament where Robert Thornton walked on stage using The Billy Boys as his walk on music and singing along, started a riot.

Why is Klaasen still tolerated? I know Taylor is a convicted sex pest etc. but Klaasen is a convicted paedo.

Can only assume that he's shown remorse and that the board of directors are satisfied that he's a ''reformed character''.

There doesn't seem to be any rapport with opponents (nothing more than a quick handshake) so there's obviously some unease backstage.

Oh, and Thornton walking onto The Billy Boys at the Premier League in Glasgow would cause all sorts of riots.

It's been annoying me for the whole tournament. One of the few things that's wrong with their coverage.

Disaster again there at the end.

Absolutely stunning surge from van Gerwen there. Every time these two meet we're almost guaranteed a thrill, and it's a shame that it was just a best of 17 legs. Lets hope we see these two in the semi final at the Worlds.

f**k knows how it finished though as once again the camera was nowhere near the winning double. Shoddy.

It is, and it's unfortunate as I enjoy most the other aspects to the ITV coverage. In particular, I like John Rawling on the commentary who completely outshines the likes of Nigel Pearson on Sky.

Sunday December 1
Afternoon Session (12.45pm)

Quarter-Finals
Michael van Gerwen v Wes Newton
Ian White v Andy Hamilton
Gary Anderson v Justin Pipe
Raymond van Barneveld v Phil Taylor

Barney hasn't beaten Taylor on TV in over five years.

His last victory came in the 2008 UK Open.
