Mark Connolly
That's awful refereeing - the Irish boy jumped through Horne, making his tackle attempt look worse than it was, and then two of them came in and belted him starting a mass scrap. To end that without even looking at the video is absolutely ridiculous.
Honest_Man#1
Sexton looked like a football player there - appealed to the ref then fell holding his head. Was just saying it's very unusual to see cheating like that in rugby, but it's definitely creeping in. -
Leggy Blonde
Scotland's ill discipline has pretty much cost them this game. Silly, frustrating stuff. Weir is also not an international 10. He's just a reincarnated Parks with worse kicking. A lot to be positive about after this 6 nations tournament.. Disappointing to end with two sin bins and a high pen count.
GAD
A Scotland player would have absolutely been yellow carded for that.
Mark Connolly
At what point do they get a yellow card? Got away with one because Gray scored, lying over the ball at every breakdown, took 2 players out after kicks there, and still just a warning?
Mark Connolly
Another penalty on the line, and slapping the ball away to prevent a quick one - still no card.
GAD
Well played ref. Yellow card finally comes at game over when you've already completely lost control. Two tiers of refereeing in the six nations, no doubt. Edited March 19, 2016 by GAD
Mark Connolly
That's shite as well - if you give away another penalty at the next breakdown for the same offence, it should be another yellow.
peasy23
Ireland should have ended that with 3 in the bin. How the feck was it not a yellow when not one but two Scotland players were taken out without the ball?

How the feck was it not a yellow when not one but two Scotland players were taken out without the ball? There seems to be a huge difference with what is a yellow card for a Scottish or Italian player compared to a Welsh, Irish or English. Ireland deserved the win, but the ref was a disgrace there to be honest, he completely lost control at the end.

kerrdavidson95
Found myself enjoying watching rugby again after this 6 Nations and the Super Rugby on as I'm eating my breakfast. So much so I'm gonna go to the Glasgow match next Friday.

They talked about it being fractious towards the end - that was quite simply down to his total inconsistency at the breakdown.

Even the last try there, you aren't actually allowed to jump into a tackle like that. Then they come steaming in and take a couple of sucker punches. They guy stands there and does f**k all, doesn't even look at the video! Pathetic.

peasy23
Joe Marler has been called to appear before an independent tribunal convened by World Rugby to investigate his "gypsy boy" comment. Bit late, and doesn't reflect well on the Six Nations board who felt he had no case to answer.
Northsea80
Glasgow rolling out the heavy hitters for tomorrow. Must win to move ahead of Ulster in the table and with a game in hand to come. Also with 3 games against the Italian sides coming up and the Irish teams all playing each other serious ground can be made up.

honestly united
Looks as if that is the strongest starting 15 Glasgow could put out (you could make a case for one or two others being included but not far off) but am assuming that a few will get rested for the Italian games.

There are calls from English fans for the Six Nations teams to boycott the next RWC due to World Rugby interference.
