David990
John Hardie hasn’t managed to pick up a contract at Clermont. Wouldn’t mind having him at Glasgow.

Cracking player. But get the feeling the SRU have washed their hands of him after what happened and his departure from Edinburgh. Hope I'm wrong though.

Don't think the SRU will be willing to offer him a contract, however Toonie still wants him to play for Scotland. A "til the end of the season" contract with Glasgow would see him still play games, maintaining match fitness, be in for a shout with Scotland whilst bolstering our back-row. Imagine a back-row of Hardie, Gibbons and Wilson. We've seen how effective having two 7s on the pitch can be with Scotland. Would love to see him play at Glasgow.
peasy23
Hogg is apparently out injured for 6-8 weeks after surgery. No Champions Cup in October, No AIs. Glasgow aren't really getting value for the money they are paying him.10-12 weeks on the Warriors website today.

Our back row strength in depth is marvellous atm. To bring in John Hardie would allow for more competition which is a good thing. We also have Adam Ashe on terrific form too with Rob Harley in the mix. Anyone know what's happened to the new American lad we brought in? Has he been injured? 4 minutes ago, peasy23 said: 10-12 weeks on the Warriors website today. Blow to lose Hoggy. However, Jacko stepped up and did a great job this time last season when Hoggy got injured. I think it'll be Jacko and Kinghorn that compete for the 15 shirt for the autumn tests.
peasy23
Warriors team for tomorrow, it's on Freesports again.
Detournement
Kevin Bryce covering TH on the bench rather than Adam Nicol. I wonder if he'll get a longer term deal now? Grigg can't pass the ball to save his life so it could be a frustrating day for Huw Jones.
honestly united
So 2 SH's on the bench last week, and 2 Hookers this week. I know its only the kings and we should be running up a decent score, but this sort of thing looks amateurish
Detournement
Kevin Bryce was used as a TH by Edinburgh.
come on shire
Kevin Bryce was a hooker. Instead of moving to back row like a lot of hookers he fancied propping lol. Solid team though. I'm looking for us to win but a BP could be tough as Ulster had issues there last week.

Maybe see him against Zebre/dragons at home. Maybe.

same_ol_g35
I wonder if the Hogg injury will quash the roumor of a move to Montpellier?
David990
Vern Cotter is the driving force behind the Montpellier move. Rumour has it if Hogg goes he’ll become the highest paid player in Europe. Guess it would depend on how much he’d like to stay or how much he’d like to work with Vern again. Or how much money they offer
Detournement
There were rumours about Glasgow having the young Italian fullback lined up to replace Hogg but he's out for ages with an ACL. Cheetahs looked much better tonight but still completely blew a win against Ulster. Pen on the halfway line, 4 minutes to go, 4 points up. They chose to kick the three points rather than back their maul which had scored two tries already. Game ended a draw.
David990
Sounded like it was a very entertaining match. Cardiff currently winning 24-13 vs Munster at the 55th minute.
GAD
Cardiff have gubbed Munster here. They've been really good, but I think Munster are looking pretty shite this year. Still, plenty for Glasgow to worry about in Europe against this Cardiff team.
David990
Had a wee look at the Munsterfans forum. They really hate the Scotstoun crowd compared the blooos fans to Glasgow with the booing. Classy lot there Blooos were brilliant tonight. Did the full 80 what we did to them rather than just 40 and that was near enough a full strength Munster side. HCCup is going to be tasty.
come on shire
Munster result great for Glasgow. We must take advantage by getting 3 wins in a row vs S. Kings, Dragons then Zebre. Preferably with a BP in each. Real banana skins though...
