Savage Henry
This Japan number 14 is going to cause Scotland all sorts of problems.
same_ol_g35
The Japanese were all over the wrong side at that turnover leading to the try.

Detournement
That turnover was joke. We are going to be up against it in the final game.
John Lambies Doos
How am I contradicting it? I never said it's not in our hands. You clearly said that assuming Scotland get 5 against Russia; a bonus point today for Japan plus a losing point for them against Scotland would put Scotland out. I correctly called this out as nonsense because a 5 1 victory for Scotland would put Scotland through. Read your first post. -
Savage Henry
That's consistent with the decision in the England game. Penalty, no yellow.

It's a frustrating because we have a horse in this race, but we really shouldn't be wanting yellow cards to be dished out easily in rugby.

Let's see how consistent it is when it's not the big team doing it.

I'll have two horses in the race come the Japan v Scotland game...... I can't lose really!
Guest Bob Mahelp
Good half from Samoa actually. Japan only really impressed when they had a man advantage.
same_ol_g35
11 caps for Samoa and lost in all of them. Just shows how far Samoa have fallen recently. Which is a pity as in the early 90s they were class.

I thought Japan were pretty poor against Russia tbh. Never saw the Ireland game though.

I reckon there would have been some Scotland players from the Williams/Hadden era with records not far off that.

Either doom and gloom defeatism or full on belief in nothing but victory. Never anything in between

The professional era has been cruel to the likes of Samoa....very little investment in their rugby and losing players left, right and centre to other countries. Contrast that with Japan, who have spent the last 6 years throwing money at their rugby team, including a deliberate and precise policy of 'nationalising' Aussies, Kiwis and Saffers.

Guest Bob Mahelp
I'm sure the Scottish team will be interested in how easily the Samoan forwards are making yards around the fringes of the ruck.
S7C
Little to no chance of Samoa getting anything here. Toothless.
