IIRC correctly, at that time, the TMO wasn't allowed to look at it under the protocols.

But even if it was the TMO's call, Joubert ran off the pitch as soon as he blew the final whistle like an absolute shitebag

Both teams looking both good and bad at various spells. Tonga make some fucking horrific mistakes, like the boy dropping the ball when he looked odds on to score there, and some real brainless plays, like the late hot that essentially got Ireland from their own line, to a try. Ireland have been a bit flaky as well.

One thing is for sure, Scotland absolutely have to have their set piece functioning next week. It's winning Ireland this game.

I noticed RWC 2027 in Australia will be 1 week shorter than this edition.

Are they going back to each pool having 2 midweek games, or is this connected to rumours of increasing to 24 nations? (e.g. 6 pools of 4 played over 3 weeks > Last 16 > QFs > SFs > Final?).
