Start trip early enough you’d be in Campbeltown before lunchtime and all afternoon to booze tour. I do not drive but even if I did, that would be an absolutely shite option compared to Cal Mac just producing their Ardrossan to Campbeltown ferries every summer weekend instead.

Agreed but seems a better option than just completely writing off a doable trip to Campbeltown.

philpy
Last one of the night. Lovely stuff. If anyone is ever in keswick or the surrounding area, please pay a visit to the taproom these guys run. Only open Tuesday to Saturday 2-7, but worth a visit.

DA Baracus
Had a few last night. Fell asleep on the couch like a silly old flange! Thus I'm only posting about them now. First up: "I think I'm cute! I know I'm sexy! I've got the moves! That drive the girls wild!" Good effort. Not too sour and not too sweet. DA Baracus
The f**k is a breakfast pale ale?! Well it's this! Has the flavour of a breakfast juice (some grapefruit and citrus tastes here):
DA Baracus
Often stouts smother their promised flavours. Not so here. Nice hit of chocolatey peanut butter but not too sweet and not overpowering. Really nice balance of flavour.
DA Baracus
Next up a really nice light lager. Then a delicious jam doughnut beer! This is exceptional, not too sweet but delivers strong flavours!
DA Baracus
Very nice blood orange pale ale. Basically a pale ale cut with some bitterness of orange. Good stuff. Absolutely delicious porter here. One of the best beers I've had this year. Truly delicious. Not some overly sweet Nutella attempt but instead a really tasty and drinkable chocolate and hazelnut porter that is very nicely balanced in flavour.
DA Baracus
A beer with a slight kick! This works really well. Then a really tasty sour, delivering the promised flavours, although it wasn't that sour at all! A good thing.
DA Baracus
A really nicely made beer. Shame I don't like coconut! Yes, I was unaware Pina Colada contains coconut! Sadly had to pour this down the drain. Made up for things with this stunning effort though! A delicious beer. Not too sweet, delicately balanced, very quaffable!
DA Baracus
Now this one I did drink! A delight that makes you think of beaches and sunsets! Chased with a top quality stout packed full of taste!
DA Baracus
Rounded things off with my current all time favourite beer. This is simply exceptional. So delicious. They sell cans in Morrisons. I strongly and highly recommend it.
CarrbridgeSaintee
Shared a bottle of Malbec last night. It went down an absolute treat, but Amarone still remains top of my red wines for the time being.
