For a minute I thought you'd outed me, as I have a name which is not unlike Marten. (Wait. Does this mean I've outed myself?) I was quite near the front and the wee lads down in the front row were chucking chips onto the track for the birds to swoop onto. Some of those birds had a magnificent first touch, a couple patrolled the touchline area like a feathered Scott Brown. Eventually the boys were told to stop it by A Concerned Jambo, who pointed out not unreasonably that some people are scared of birds and others were here to watch the game. TBF your photo doesn’t do it justice either The terns on the May will perform a lobotomy on you unless you wear a helmet. There's maybe 100 people here, and healthy interest from the sheep over the fence. After last night's Hitchcokesque thriller at Tynecastle, I'm sad to report the total absence of flocks of hungry seagulls tonight. * A team so niche I can't find them on Groundhopper app, so I've recorded it as Lesmahagow v Lesmahagow. Full time 1-1. Lesmahagow won 5-3 on penalties. EDIT - Carluke won 5-3 on penalties. Yes I did actually watch a football game and confuse the teams.
