Not necessarily, no. If you wanted to criticise the Israeli government for its bin collection rota or the lunch menu at the Knesset canteen, that would not constitute anti-semitism.

Criticising Israel for defending itself against local populations who post an existential threat is where the anti-semitism comes into play.

Ooooft, baws oot here, fair play but you are talking total dug shite . Not sure what you don't grasp here but again, criticism of the Israeli state is not anti semitic no matter what context you think you are displaying.

Just for clarity, you do know what anti semitic actually means ???

It’s these sort of attitudes that are allowing our streets to be filled with protestors openly calling for Jihad. Low level anti-semitism is abhorrent in itself, but we’ve already seen one terrorist attack carried out in the name of Palestine in the UK as the telegraph reported the other day. We don’t want any more of this happening.

There are a minority of protestors who are antisemitic, but tarring the majority as you are doing is fucking nonsense.

Keeping a better eye on the Gaza border fence instead of shifting troops to the West Bank to protect settlers attacking Palestinians and stealing their land might have been more effective than flattening apartment blocks and cutting off water, fuel and food to Gaza after the event.

It's all about nuance. Palestine isn't Hamas. Israel isn't Netanyahu and his government.

This has already been covered by others.  If you’re really interested scroll back.

Perhaps a wee read of this.....

https://www.theguardian.com/news/2019/mar/07/debunking-myth-that-anti-zionism-is-antisemitic

As it happens, I'm not anti-Zionist, because I've always felt Israel had and has a right to exist.

I have though, never particularly thought deeply about whether being anti-Zionist automatically means one is anti-Semitic.

Donathan, imo, isn't a moron. It's fairly obvious what he's up to.

Hizb ut-Tahrir were founded by a Palestinian Islamist in response to the Nakba, ie. it was literally Israeli war crimes that motivated the group's creation:

Therefore, surely folk against Israeli war crimes are the least to blame for that group's existence.

Hizb-ut-Tahrir are an odd one - support the restoration of the Caliphate but by non-violent means. It's not just Western governments that don't tolerate them but Muslim ones as well.

What a disgusting man

Former Israeli diplomat Dan Gillerman doesn’t hold back on Sky news.

Pure fascism and propaganda for genocide on Sky News, cool.

Firstly he's puzzled why people would care about the deaths of civilians.  He calls all Palestinians "horrible, inhuman animals" then suggests that all Palestinians are terrorists when he conflates them with the Taliban or Al-Qaeda.

Conflation of  Palestinians with Hamas and comparing Palestinians with Russian soldiers................

I hope he isnt a bellwether of the Israeli diplomatic mindset, or there is little chance of any humanitarian pause.

Anyone with half an once of brain can see the situation in Afghanistan was almost the polar opposite of what is happening in Gaza. These people have had a collective "heads gone" and seem to be taking a few of the stupid / gullible / bigoted with them.

Interesting to see even the right wing UK press starting to soften their stance slightly.

So Taliban and Al Queda equals Palestinian people.

You would imagine someone posting this clip would attach a condemnation of this false equivalency.

Pretty shocking that this went unchallenged.

Can you imagine the heads gone if someone had spoken about Israelis or Jews in this fashion? Unfortunately, the Palestinians seem to be fair game for all sorts of genocidal rhetoric.
