AsimButtHitsASix
Anyone else looking forward to this? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0475784/ HBO series (so will have tits and swearing), good cast and a good team behind it. Ed Harris in the Yul Brynner role by the lookds of things as well and he's a right evil looking b*****d.
tongue_tied_danny
Could be interesting, I enjoyed the film and the sequel Futureworld. I'm a bit of a sucker for pre-Star Wars '70s sci-fi so this should be right up my street.
sjc
Never been into Sci-Fi but I fcuking loved the 70's film with Yul Brynner........a apprehensive to check this out for fear of disappointment.......

killienick
The 70s film is great but the premise is perfect for TV. I'm looking forward to this one.
Quentin Taranbino
I see the trailer for this was released a couple of weeks ago. Looks terrific (and weird)

Cerberus
It looks weird. Do they even cowboy? HBO at least won't half ass the budget.

Musketeer Gripweed
Is it wrong that every time I see a Western these days I expect ZZ Top to turn up?
Bully Wee Villa
Very good first episode I thought.
Ira Gaines
Great first episode with lots of interesting stuff boiling beneath the surface.
Bully Wee Villa
Could've done without the bellend announcer talking over Johnny Cash at the end though.
peasy23
Good start, built a few characters up nicely.
sjc
Thought the first episode was very good with like @Randy Gilessaid, a lot of interesting stuff boiling underneath. Anyone know how many seasons HBO are planning? My fear is that it's more than 1 or 2 maximum and they end up padding the storyline out in desperation a bit like with the show Lost.

Ye have little faith. I thought it was fucking excellent. A complete breath of fresh air compared to the stuff I've been watching of late.
JustOneCornetto
Pretty good opener and interesting to see the Danish Prime Minister in a extreme career change.
Boostin' Kev
Thought that episode was ok. As above, good to see the PM from Borgen in another programme.
Forfinn
I enjoyed it. It's definitely set the scene very well. I've not seen the original or read the book, but suspect this will diverge greatly. Knowing HBO, they'll have a multi-series plan set out which will take us in all sorts of unexpected directions.
