  1. Bucket hats are for twats, although I can appreciate how they may prevent sunburn at outdoor gigs in summer. Suits are for Jehovah's Witnesses and the accused in a grisly court case. I do have a Taion gilet. It's warm and lightweight. I think it looks cool, but I'm sure that most people think that I look like a total fud when I wear it. I can live with that.
  2. I watched a documentary about Joyce Vincent a while back. She was the woman who went undiscovered for more than 2 years. She was wrapping Xmas presents when she died. But nobody noticed for more than 2 years until the housing association investigated unpaid rent. I live on my jack, but I'm employed. If I keeled over I like to think that my employers would check on me.
  3. I saw Parliamo in Beat Generator in Dundee last night. They're a lad rock band from Perth. Decent enough in a "here we fucking go" kinda way.
  4. There are a number of fashion labels out there that romanticise football hooliganism. I'm talking about shite like Weekend Offender and Peaceful Hooligan as well as all the 80s Casual Classic pish. Any c**t who wears this pish deserves ridicule and scorn.
  5. Mate, we're always the best team in Angus, regardless of league position. f**k the smokies and completely disregard Brechin and Forfar.
  6. Good call. Ed Harris and Stephen King also pop up in Creepshow.
  7. I recently threw out a Fruit of the Loom sweatshirt that cost me less than a tenner 20 years ago that outlived many more expensive garments. I've a couple of shirts and jackets that are 10 to 15 year old, that I seldom wear.
  8. Finished this tonight. Fascinating and terrifying in equal measures.
  9. Just booked a ticket to see Cherie Currie, of The Runaways, at Beat Generator in Dundee later this year. I gotta admit, that's not somebody that I ever imagined would be playing a small venue in Dundee. It'll be interesting to see if she still has it.. or if it will just be a 65 year old woman stomping around on stage.
