  1. Yeah your prob right, was more thinking of SPFL grounds, esp the 2 top flights.
  2. Exactly, if they don't smash things up or are violent towards anyone there isn't a problem, really not understanding your argument here. We're pretty much in agreement. Doesn't bother me in the slightest seeing young guys being loud and vibrant supporters, i draw the line at violence and vandalism* of property though. There's a difference between over exuberance and going looking for trouble, which is maybe what we're mixed up with in our views, i'm not in any way saying young lads/men should be over policed to stop them having a good time, enjoying themselves. *By that i mean going on the rampage smashing things up, not being over exuberant damaging seats, shit happens with excited fans celebrating goals etc, that isn't willful damage.
  3. Takig it to the extreme, If fans do something that warrants a ban they aren't just banned from Livi games, they're banned from attending all football games in Scotland. So they wouldn't be joining any other clubs and supporting them. Nobody is looking to discourage them supporting Livi though, but they aren't any more special than any other fan, that they can just do whatever they want, we all have to follow the same rules of what is acceptable conduct at games.
  4. Yeah i don't think anyone is saying it's just a Livi problem, posters above have mentioned incidents by other fans, County, Aberdeen, St Mirren, and Motherwell, i've seen a lot of other match threads on P&B mentioning these hoodie and balaclava youths causing trouble outside grounds.
  5. In and around the stadium certainly, if this is becoming a problem Livingston should be discussing it at their match day briefs, and ensuring there is security looking out for these balaclava youths, and ensuring safe passage for visiting fans getting to their cars/buses. Needs to be reported to them too though, so they're aware of it.
  6. Aye not experienced it myself, but keep reading more and more about these incidents around grounds. Sure i read about County boys chucking stones at cars in our last match thread when we played you too. I was parked up by the Mallard and got away without any problems, so again didn't see anything myself.
  7. It was entertaining on Saturday there, might be the same in the Championship next season. The entertainment over results is an interesting debate though. Sometimes you lose playing decent stuff, and sometimes you win playing poorly, but stick away your chances, def come away feeling better after we win than being gallant/plucky losers. Course this season we've mostly played poorly and lost, esp defensively.
  8. Yeah i said back in the days when we used to win there, recent times it rarely happened, and we sit behind the goals now too, was better when we were in the pitch side stand in beside Saints fans. The amount of swearing your fans did was impressive, and FAF.
  9. No believing that. Back in the days when we used to always win playing St Mirren away, i loved going there for their fans raging at everything, referee, our manager, their manager, linesman, 4th official, our players, their players, our fans, everyone got it, was brilliant entertainment.
  10. Yeah it was good to see us play with a bit of fight yesterday, even in defence we were throwing bodies into blocking shots, haven't seen much of us doing that this season. It's usually the smaller players in midfield that are the most aggressive too, Holt loves snapping into challenges, and Pitts presses like f**k, same up front, Bruce runs about pressing CB's into mistakes and making a nuisance of himself, Brandon and MacKay are the same, getting stuck in and full of running. Too late for us now, but still, enjoyed coming away with that winning feeling, gives your spirit a wee lift.
  11. Well you've got us at home next weekend, that's usually a banker.
  12. Was the same with our Premiership promotion team, our midfield were all short arses, but we had a rep of fielding a team of giants. Martindale did sign a lot of big players this season though, and when Shamal, Nottingham, Obileye, Devlin, Montano, Se Kelly, Nouble, Guthrie, Yengi and Sangare started we did look a team of giants, but yesterday we were pretty much the same as any other team, having tall defenders & keeper, and short to average height players everywhere else.
  13. Yeah on their day County are a good team, but they're down in 11th place for a reason.
  14. Iiir their manager even said pre match how we played, and during the game McNeil shrugged his shoulders at the fans shouting to him to stop passing it out from the back. He knew if he didn't follow instructions he'd be castigated, like Bobby Barr was, sent to East Fife. Even if we occasionally sent it long, just so we weren't so predictable, and the opposition strikers wouldn't know to stay up the pitch waiting for us to pass it our from the keeper. Lucky you, wish i had no memory of it too. Yeah he's said that about Callum Carson before when i praised him for the coverage on Livi, best we've ever had. He obv had to have a certain amount of diplomacy reporting on all things Livi, and not be overly critical, but thought he was pretty honest in his critique, certainly very informative and gave a good match report on our performance.
