Seen a few rumours saying that 9ers are going to be one of London games against the Vikings.

Spartans 2-1 Peterhead League 1 play off semi final 1st leg. Peterhead will be wondering how they managed to lose that. Better team by far but just could not get 2nd their play deserved. Not sure what the penalty was awarded for as was up the other end and from what was said at the end I don’t think many of players were aware either. Decent crowd in with a fair number down from Peterhead. No programme was only disappointing thing.

As a member of SNP I am happy enough with Swinney as leader from those who had shown an interest. If that answers your question. Still a better option than any those leading the branch offices of the other parties.

Was not aware the Quakes had played in Oakland. Been to a Raiders game there. Pretty run down then and guessing it will be worse now. Been to Stanford a few times and it’s a nice stadium and would suit a football game as stands close to the pitch. Back over in November and hoping to catch either Cal or Stanford if the make College play offs so can catch a game at the football venues.

In past Quakes used to play games against the LA teams at Stanford Stadium just up the road from Levi which has a 50,000 capacity so not an unusual thing for them to move to a bigger venue.

Today’s Haddington Athletic v Jeanfield Swifts programme. Decent programme for £2.

Haddington Athletic 1-2 Jeanfield Swifts. 8th against 4th in East of Scotland Premier League. Haddington scored quickest goal I have seen in about 30 seconds with a tap in following an error by Jeanfield keeper. Jeanfield equalised not long after through another goalkeeping error. Jeanfield’s winner was complete opposite of first two goals come from a great passing move. Entertaining game with both sides creating some decent chances. Great set up at Millfield and cracking steak pie.

Tonight’s Scottish Youth Cup final programme. Decent programme especially as free on entry.

Leith Athletic 6-0 Lochore Welfare. Too nice a night to sit in so headed over to Meadowbank to watch the East of Scotland 1st division game between teams is 10th and 13th respectively. Comfortable victory for Leith with Lochore not helped by one of their players having a couple of goes at getting himself sent off by booting Leith players off the ball before being successful.

Yesterday’s Scottish Cup semi final programme. Bit expensive at £5 but excellent programme.

Was a free kick for Montrose near the end of the game. Montrose keeper had come up for it and dived just as I took picture.

Edinburgh City 1-0 Montrose in league 1. Original game was abandoned due to high winds and Montrose were probably hoping for high winds to return to get this abandoned as well as they played poorly tonight and never really troubled City who played well and deserved their win. City Ultras were not allowed into ground tonight due to noise complaints so instead moved to the waste ground closer to the houses who complained.

Last nights Hutchison Vale v Dunbar United programme.

Hutchinson Vale 2-3 Dunbar United. 3rd against 6th in the East Scotland Premier League. This was plan C tonight after games at Burntisland and Civil Service were called off. End to end game with both teams trying to play football despite the miserable weather. Not sure Dunbar’s second was not offside but was a really tight call. First time sitting in new stand at Ainslie Park and view was better than I expected with floodlight not blocking view as much as I thought it would.
