RiG
Yes, they really are. That takes me back a couple of years RiG. We must have gotten sent over fifteen letters from Aberdeen Councilabout my flatmate having to pay council tax and each time the amount varied wildly ranging from 27p to about three and a half grand. Ended up turning into a game and whoever's guess was furthest away would have to make tea. Best bit was when he said "So you and Gemma were students? You do know that being exempt from CT only covers when your course runs so it wouldn't cover you for the summer months you are claiming exmeption?" Me: "Well seeing as we are Masters students and our course runs for 12 months we were exempt throughout the summer. I detailed this in an email to you on *insert date* and in a letter on *insert date*." Council Tax Guy: "Ah." I think it's safe to say I owned him.
SaintSam
And take it somewhere else next time... To be fair, the other places were quoting twice as long!
Guest XaaronPrimus
To be fair, the other places were quoting twice as long! But if you made your decision based on the length of time, it's a bit out of order to have them keep delaying it and delaying it. You were promised it yesterday, and that has turned into tomorrow. Had a similar thing with a leather coat I ordered. 2 weeks turned into 3 months. While 3 months may have been a fair time for the order to be made etc, it is a far cry from the 2 weeks we were told. But it was all the Italians fault...

An Sionnach
Now I have f**k all to do all day, and have to sit about w@nking. What do you expect from a teenage Arbroath fan.... Edit: Apologies - that was an extremely childish post. I shall go for a calming cigarette and walk for 5 minutes and try and regain a sense of proportion and decent humour! Fooking shocking.

Guest xbasslichtie
Feckin' crucial football matches - *sigh* I too am not going to Berwick. Have long standing plans, and I cant welch on them. Its basically the last thing me and my flatmate will do together before she moves out and we graduate, so I cant back out on it now.

The correct spelling is 'porch' and it's not yours, it belongs to Carstairs.
Ladyfan
The good thing about being rubbish, is that fact that game have no real significance. You can actually get gubbed 5-3 and sit back and say 'I enjoyed that game' although I would happily trade our situation for yours I like the Warriors fans! There seems to be a good sense of what actually is, rather than greetin about how unfair football/life/referees/other fans are (unlike some other 3rd div fans). There's always next year. Look at what we went through last year. This year, whether we go up a division or not, is a huge improvement. Look on the bright side...........

That is possibly the gayest excuse I've ever heard of for missing a football match. What are you doing with the bint, going to Starbucks for a latte and a discussion about why men won't commit? What a buftie.
