https://twitter.com/pieandbov/status/16642919496233https://twitterAccording to the forum devs the problem is very much at the Twitter side, so not much we can for now.
It's a pain in the arse.

I heard a whisper there has been disquiet at the academy . Apparently everything up to the 16 year olds is fine , but the older boys are not enjoying it and are reportedly wanting out , hence the likes of Murray Campbell is leaving .
Yip, it's a real concern. The academy has got us out of a few holes in the past, both with the players it's put on the park, and the money we've then brought in when we've sold them on.
It was the coming of age of Mallan, McAllister, Morgan and Magennis as much as Jacks January wheeling and dealing that got us away from the disaster of a League 1 relegation to back into the top flight within 18 months.

Its brutal how common this is going to become.
Seemingly most EPL sides/serious Championship sides, have full time scouts up here now watching U16/U18 level with your Manchester clubs looking even younger.
Wont be look until U12s are signing for these clubs instead of Scottish clubs.
Although I do not support the Conference League proposal there is a real problem in Scotland when players get to Murray's age.
Murray is stuck. He's not physically capable yet of competing in the first team, and I don't think, given the position he plays, that he's physically able at this point in his development to even go on loan to a lower league club. A 16/17 year old kid playing CH would get smashed to bits in League 2.
Without a proper reserve league to play in he literally has nowhere to go and that more than any financial rewards are what will eventually see him go down to England where clubs have full squads competing in the England Under-23 Leagues.
Worryingly our under-18 squad got absolutely destroyed this season as per the league table that champions Hamilton published.

I was one of the 8% who opposed Kibble's involvement with St Mirren as I favoured 100% fan ownership.
It's a bit pedantic but there has never been a proposal whereby SMiSA bought 100% of the shares. The number they would have had with the SG consortium block plus Gordon's shares would have taken us to 70 odd percent. As it is Kibble bought that chunk that left us with 51%.
As far as I remember you do need to offer to buy all remaining shares when you hit a certain number, but can't mind what that number is, 80% maybe?
Either way there are hundreds of shareholders with a few shares here and there and I'm sure the vast majority bought them for sentimental reasons rather than in expecting a return. I doubt many of them would have been up for selling.
The 50+1 model is how German clubs are run. Fans must own 51% of the club.
In this case we saved ourselves, as the fans, about £300K and got fan ownership 3 years earlier than planned, and Gordon got his money back.
It's hard to argue that was a bad deal but I think the default knee jerk from too many people is to blame Kibble when literally anything goes wrong, but to ignore them completely and praise everyone else when something good happens.
I've said a few times that I have no doubts at all about Kibble as an organisation, but I think there are valid reasons to have concerns about the character of one or both of their reps on the club board.
Both those guys need to do some work on their personal PR to turn around the notion that they are bad guys.
In terms of the day to day running of the club I can tell you from first hand experience that it's not been in better hands since Brian Caldwell left.
Keith Lasley has been an absolutely fantastic appointment.

What I did pick up from Sunday at the Normandy was that Maino, Chilli D and Shags are all leaving. All offered new contracts and all turned them down.
Those three along with Watt, Small and Tait will be the only first team regulars to go at this point.
Not sure what's happening with CBM, but I've seen someone suggesting he is staying and I guess since he played on Saturday that might stack up?

I shit you not, he told me he was a vegetarian!

I'm far from convinced he's got what it takes for the top flight tbh.

I also spoke to Tony Watt on Sunday. I think I spoke to the whole room to be honest.
I asked him if he thought he'd be back next season but unfortunately I was absolutely hammered by that point and have no recollection of what he said.
I also told Jonah Ayunga that I loved him, I wished Greg Kiltie all the best with his wedding, and I told Keanu Baccus that he made me feel like a proud da during the world cup.
I also invited Curtis Main to a BBQ at my house on Monday but he never showed up.

I'd think of Gordon as a mate, but purely on the basis that I've been to the pub with him a few times.
He's a good guy and will be a loss to the board IMO.
I spoke to him at the POTY on Sunday night, and he told me then that he had put in his resignation.
Nothing sinister in it, he's just decided that it's a good time in his life to take a step back.
No great Kibble conspiracy I'm afraid, all quite boring!

I've made a change. Please let me know if that's resolved it?

Hoping Main makes it, he's played through injuries before and I'm sure he'll be absolutely desperate to get at Aberdeen again tomorrow especially given his performance at the weekend.
If he doesn't make it though we are in a bit of a pickle, especially if Greive also comes up short in his battle to be fit.
Suppose it's an opportunity for either Offord and/or Jamieson and hopefully they take it if it comes.
Fuck all to lose, everything to gain.

Cheers Div. I haven’t yet done any of those things yet, but it seems to have stopped doing it now.
Apologies, maybe it was just some weird phone glitch.
No worries, thanks for letting me know.

There was talk last year about Davis, whose contract ends soon. Though he's out injured and a year older now.
I'd prefer younger, sellable assets that we'd enjoy for 2 or 3 seasons than guys who are aging rapidly (in footballing terms)
We need to be even better next season, right from the summer pre season please!
I think that ship will have most likely sailed given his injury and the age he's at.

He'd absolutely still do a job for any team outside the OF; however can't imagine we could afford him.
Agreed. He will not be short of offers, would think it very unlikely we could even get close.

Is Finlayson still with us? No idea how he did/is doing in Northern Ireland or has he been released?
Signed a permanent deal with Linfield last month, for a "small fee".

Our "GTF Day" which is the day every year that the site rolls over into the new season.
GTF of course stands for "Go To Forum".
This year, from Sunday June 4th supporters of the teams promoted or relegated should move on to their new divisional forum home.
We will also amend all the forum descriptions, the homepage will be updated and any other relevant business will be completed.
Change will take effect shortly after the Premiership Play Off Final has finished. Yes, I forgot that was on that day
Until then we'd ask fans of all promoted or relegated clubs to stick to their relevant forum where appropriate, so take your medicine for another couple of weeks if you've been relegated, and lord it up for a while longer if you've had a successful season.

Struggling to re-create this issue on my iPhone.
Can you confirm if the same happens if you use the default theme?
Can you try and clear your temp Safari files to see if that helps at all?
Do you know roughly when this started happening?

The PDE article (https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/in-your-area/renfrewshire/charity-blasted-over-secret-plan-29953458) quoted the council as saying: "Officers provided a supporting addendum to the grant funding application which marked an area of land based on our discussions with Kibble for context only, so this was not a mistake.
“This showed an indicative area only. The funding application itself did not specify an exact location – had it been successful, the exact detail and location would have been decided at a later date, as part of a wider masterplan for the area, and through any subsequent planning application. The funding application relied on information provided by Kibble."
I don't profess to know much about these applications, but I'd have thought if you were asking for millions of pounds to fund building something then the location of where that building was going to be would be quite an important part of the application rather than just casually saying "it will be somewhere around here".
Accept it was very early stages though and that those details would have followed along with planning applications etc.... had it been moved forward.
On a side note I'm really disappointed that Alan did not forward the membership details for the 1877 club to the football club.
This whole beef has nothing to do with the 240 members of the 1877 who diligently pay our monthly fees to use that facility.
I get he's hurt but you don't take that out on fellow supporters who have absolutely nothing to do with this bun fight.

On the football yesterday I thought we were absolutely magnificent first half, as good as I’ve seen us play in a while.
Gogic was sensational, as he was the whole game, as was Strain. I also thought Baccus looked much more like his old self when he came on 2nd half.
Second half Hearts obviously improved after a bollocking but we weathered that and came back into things and really should have scored a third by the time they got one back.
The red card should have allowed us to put things to bed but when you don’t take your chances you are always liable to a sucker punch and so it proved.
Really disappointing way for the afternoon to finish after the players put so much into it.
Im refusing to give up hope but it’s pretty difficult to see us getting much more than a point from the 3 games left.
It’s disappointing but we can’t lose sight of the fact it will still be our highest league finish in nearly 40 years.

Unfortunately looks like #KibbleGate rumbles on.
The papers now saying the council have confirmed the drawings submitted in the application (the ones suggesting use of club land) were created by the Kibble, not the council.
Story Source;
Now IF that is true, then this section of the email sent by Jim Gillespie to SMiSA needs some explaining.

I'd be honestly shocked if we got through with both Baccus and Strain still on the books, I've a feeling one will be sold. Hopefully not both.
Also wonder if there is still interest from several parties over Murray Campbell. He is still only 16 after all and won't be 17 until around end of August I think?
Murray is off to Burnley I think.
We are in a good contractual position with O’Hara but he is actually the one I expect to receive the most interest on.
Weaker hands on Strain and Baccus obviously.

The club will do everything in it's power to move Brophy on.
His contract is absolutely killing us.
Hugely unlikely anyone will offer him anywhere near what he's on with us so only plausible outcome I can see is that we pay him a lump sum and mutually terminate.
It's going to be sore either way.
Shame it didn't work out for him, we've seen the odd glimpse here and there but pound for pound it's been a bit of a disaster for us when all said and done.
