Definitely from Kennoway, played against him at boys club level for years. I used to see him at the Pure Gym in Dunfermline pretty regularly, so assumed he stayed in Dunfermline.

I really, really did not like Barjonas the last time he was here but I’m willing to accept he’s probably a hell of a lot better than then. If he signs he’ll get a fair crack of the whip from me.

Yeah, good news that our top scorer is possibly going to sign for our biggest rivals. Scored 25 goals in two seasons from right midfield and however many assists. Insane to think that’s anything other than a terrible proposition.

It’s been a good thing for literally every other team we’ve played in the last month. Sure that will continue.

Barrie McKay was a workshy, big time, billy-big-baws, horrible little c**t when he was with us on loan. We were due to play Inverness in the cup and the game got cancelled when our train was in Perth. I didn’t go to the rearranged game but know people who did who say that McKay’s performance that night is the worst they have ever seen from anyone in a Rovers kit. Just a minging wee ned of a guy.

We had 4 subs yesterday and Murray mentioned that we won’t have any of the injured players back for next week. We got two sent off who will both miss out, but Sam Stanton should be back after the birth of his child. So we are looking at 3 subs. Ayr should be liquidated at full time if they don’t beat us.

The number of people who haven’t returned post-Goodwillie will be double figures. I’d guess less than 50. It’s also surely time to move on.

Tom Lang is a real conundrum, eh? On his day is as good as any centre half in the Championship. Strong, great distribution and quick but seems incapable of going longer than a game and a half without making some sort of massive, game defining error. I don’t think it would be sensible going into next season potentially keeping all of the back 4 who have struggled badly this year. I think we will try to retain Liam Dick and Millen is already signed, meaning a choice between Nolan or Lang - probably as third choice centre half. Right now, I’m leaning toward Nolan. I should add, I’d happily keep Lang but there would need to be a genuine concerted effort to reduce the errors in his game.

Based on absolutely nothing other than feeling, I think Spencer will sign for Partick Thistle.

Spencer is a funny one. It has the feel of a relationship which is coming to a natural end. I think he’s good, and if he stayed I’d be quite happy, but I’d wonder if a parting of ways would suit both parties.

Finishing the game with 9 men in a game that means absolutely nothing is quite something.
