I’m back home. Great day.

Got in the car an hour and a half ago and I’m currently approaching the Dalmeny slip road on the way to Crammond This country’s road infrastructure is unrivalled.

So essentially unless you are travelling by car or bus and chose to go by Kincardine, you won’t get there? My sat nav told us to go by the FRB. I fucking hate this stupid fucking country.

I’m in the car on the way, but the traffic is so bad at the FRB our estimated time of arrival is about half time. Going to have to abandon and go home. What a great way to spend my Saturday.

Having seen that stat of Morton being the most direct side in the country, I think we’d be daft not to have Frederiksen in the side to deal with it. Won’t get 90 mins out him yet tho, so it depends on if you want him to start or finish the game.

Morton were easily the worst team I’ve seen this season, but they do seem to have picked up a fair bit lately. Dick at centre half did well on Saturday, as did Ngwenya at left back. I think if Nolan is fit he will come back in but it would t be a disaster if we had to go with the former again. Frederiksen will have had another whole week of training. Keen to see him partner Gullan at some point but I think going 4-4-2 away from home would be risky. Imagine we will see the big man in the second half again.

Liam Dick was excellent today. He is actually a very serviceable centre half, wins so many headers for someone who isn’t physically that big or strong. First of me seeing Ngwenya as well - quite impressed. Still a bit raw but has the potential to be that marauding kind of full back if he can improve in a few areas. Leaves Murray with headaches all over the park for the next game, with more bodies still to come back. Feeling positive.

That was actually very enjoyable. Sam Stanton put in one of the most complete central midfield performances for many a year, absolute outstanding - 10/10. Frederiksen, after almost scoring an own goal with his literal first touch of the ball in Rovers colours, did fine. Should have scored with his chance but had to rush it and the ball wouldn’t come down quick enough. It’s a long way from his middle to his bottom so I happy to let it slide. What he will do, if occupy defenders and let our other players get more time and space - and this is exactly what we have been lacking. Keen to see how he gets on. I loved him taking the ball off Millen for the throw in, then demanding everyone else got in the box before launching it 40 yards. Better from Connolly today, good to see him in form again. Super strike from Gullan with the free kick. Ian murray spoke pre-match about how Gullan was an excellent striker of the ball; how he never sclaffs it and that was a great example. Such a clean hit. Great to get the win. Few big games coming up now.

Just watched the interview from both. I assume the paperwork is done, we wouldn’t announce it if it wasn’t. Expect to see him in the squad tomorrow. As for John’s interview, rarely see someone exude as much big dick energy. I want him to be brilliant with every fibre of my being.

Announce the immediate commencement of operation ‘chuck it in the box’. What a buzz.

I don’t think Millen is particularly great at right back, but a combination of being spoiled with Tumilty over the last two seasons and fans of previous clubs telling Rovers fans on social media and on here that he was pish has made him a really easy target. We’ve always got to have someone to direct our ire towards.
