    Agreed. I think, at the very least, we need to actually give Murray a chance to get something close to our best team on the pitch. Whole lot of moaning and groaning going on, which is what Rovers fans tend to do best.

    I’ve done hospitality this season - it was really enjoyable. Folk do it because they enjoy it and it supports the club. Not exactly a baffling conundrum.

    The loan was last season. Do you not need to re-register a squad every season? It is surely possible that we didn’t register him as a player this season as there was no intention of ever playing him.

    Utterly needless corner to give away. The ball is going straight out the park without a bounce and Nolan tries to cut it out and deflects it away for a corner from which we concede. So stupid.

    Started off much the better side but ended the half pretty even. Done well up to the final third but final ball is lacking. We’re getting the run on their centre midfield quite regularly. I think if we are going to score it’ll be from something through the middle as we’ve had no quality out wide. Connolly barely been in the game. MacDonald had a great save from a free kick.

    Been the better side, but I am a wee bit concerned by how exposed Mcbride is leave Liam Dick down the left hand side. His starting position is so high, when the ball gets turned over high up the park Dick has had an overloads down his side a few times because he’s not got back in time.

    This is a lot more like the Sam Stanton I initially thought we would get when he signed. A real driving force in the midfield.

    Stanton with a great turn and shot off the inside of the post from 25 yards. Looked a goal all the way.

    Presumably he is signed, pending a work permit? I doubt we’d have him in full tracky up at Cove if he hadn’t actually signed.

    Not to take anything away from Queen’s Park’s achievements this season, but when was the last time a team came up from League 1 and didn’t do well? Genuine question. Cove no doing too great this year, I suppose.
