1. Absolutely shite losing a game to a pen like that, so needless. Aberdeen were the better team and as soon as they get a lead it’s basically game over, we’ve seen it so many times.

Back to the drawing board for us, decent first 30 mins then never kicked a ball. Meh.

Bet you thought it was ok last week.
2. Yeah got caught with this for Killie. It seems for ever club who is with the company Saints are (the majority) there is a set of web pages preceded with PPV.
these are separate from the main saints TV page. You also need to register an account first before you can buy the event.
It's not the most intuitive really. I mean how hard is it to put a big fucking button on the main TV pages, that most folk will go to that takes you to the correct place, or even straight onto the purchase workflow.

Exactly

There have been women working on Scottish football coverage for years, and not just at the BBC either. Hazel Irvine was one of the first I can think of, but there have been lots of others - the awful Scotsport show had Sarah O, BT had Eilidh Barbour for a long time and now she's at Sky where she replaced Hayley McQueen. Sandra Brown and Jane Lewis have both appeared on the radio for year, Julie Fleeting has been on Sportscene results several times too. And that's just off the top of my head without thinking of any others.
There haven't been a lot of black people on Scottish football coverage, but that's partly because we don't have a lot of black people in Scotland. However, Paul Elliott definitely used to do some punditry in the late 90s, and Marvin Bartley has been involved a lot recently (again, even before BLM took off this summer). Iwelumo is a Scotland international and most importantly appears to be very good at it, so why would you assume him being picked was some sort of affirmative action? As mentioned before, I think that says more about you than anything else.

Also won a Scottish Cup medal as an unused substitute with St Johnstone so a legend. Thought he talked very well.

That's pretty much my thinking as well.
As delighted as I would be if it happened, I'm not sure we're going to see a Scougall or Swanson/Wright/Kennedy/Watt or May type signing this  summer.

Be delighted if we never have a Scougall type signing ever again tbh. Biggest anti climax signing of the last ten seasons for me, just a total let-down.

Good enough player but too small and never dictated any game I saw him play.

5.
look at all the replies today, I'll give you a clue, I'm only one saints poster out of the many, who isn't giving a single f**k about why our manager, a week or so  into the job hasn't signed anyone. We all must be happy Clappers. You on the other hand are the only moaning c**t on about why the club hasn't done this, that or the other. That's fine by me Dick, you moan all you like just don't expect to not be called out on it when its pretty unfounded.

Totally trust Calum to know best.

Shaughnessy was never going to be physical enough to cope in that league.

Missed him at the beginning of last season but since we got things sorted and went on our run, has he been missed-- no.

Would struggle now to get near the team unless injury caused a need.

Made a big career mistake as he didn't play that many games for Southend.

Wouldn't want him back.

7. I wonder if he’ll maybe offer his assistance to the national team anyway. Even if it’s just as a coach, his experience is always going to be helpful. Thinking about to, I would generally agree, unless he’s offered an amazing job that he can’t turn down either because of the club or the money, it’ll be a team in Ireland that gets his managerial prowess next. I don’t think he’ll appear in Scotland as a manger again, have never thought he would to be honest. As others have said he’s got this reputation for being a dinosaur, who plays long ball football, fills a team with 6 foot + players that are all journeymen and older. That stigma could literally not be any further from the truth and does him a massive disservice.

Don’t see this bit about 6 foot+ players. Often when we lined up before the hand shake bit we looked to me much smaller compared to the opposition.
8. Listening to Sportsound yesterday.
Circa £2,000 a week, 100k per club covid testing bill just to get training on the 11th says a lot more about why Drey was offered reduced terms than the stats/output he may or may not provide.
We'd need to find that additional money from somewhere. Regardless how good he is we couldn't afford to continue paying him a relatively high wage.

Now if he actually scored a goal it might be worth worrying about. Thanks and goodbye
9. That's a really interesting angle. realmadrid
Do Saints have any plans to improve media facilities?
Why can I never get 4G during a game?

The 4G signal in the main stand sometimes is ok then sometimes nothing. Even outside in the car it’s very unreliable. Do different networks work better than others at the ground. I have sky so I assume it’s O2 network.
